M5 what else

I agree as old as it is, it still most likely has the best driving dynamics and you can get it with a proper 6 Speed manual.

I drove one and got wheel spin in 3rd gear.

ANd it has the best engine by a mile.

The orgasm is still playing in my ears. Also I maxing it out on this local highway in my town was also fun and efortless.

For all those of you that care about public safety, this highway had a maximum of 80 km/h, I got it to 260 km/h, it was around 1 am not a single car in sight and it was summer, been driving for over 5 years, over 100,000 km of experience, no speeding tickets or accidents

I can't wait until someone puts all of these together in a massive comparo test.

For me it is the E63, XF-R, RS6, CTS-V and then M5 in that order. We don't get the RS6 here in the U.S. so the real order would be E63, XFR, CTS-V and M5.

Went with the M5, been one of my favs for awhile.

It's amazing how well the M5 holds it's fanboy status after so many years now, almost 4 years.

Now it'S going to be difficult!! But first of all, thanks for creating this poll (including Alpina and Jag)!!

But DAMN, no I have to decide between these two…B5 S or XFR…

…absolutely love both!!

But in the end I decided to go for the new Jag XFR!! Is much more modern, looks fabulous and the sound of the V8 is stunning! Also love the interior…right followed by Alpina B5 S (Audi RS6, BMW M5, Cadillac and AMG)! Yep, I would rather like to get a Cadillac then the new W212!

E63 for me I'm obsessed with is, such a elegant, beautiful and sleek car

RS6. None of the others can hit 200 km/h faster than the Audi (13,2 s).

Does the M5 ever age or look dated?
With the E39 it's been 11 years now.

The E39 is definitely one of the best looking BMWs ever build!! Just look at it - looks still fresh and modern…but also extremely elegant etc!! And the interior is just stunning, with that middle console…

All the other can compete with eachother, but the M5 is in a league of it's own.

Caddy and Jag??? PLEASE give me a Porsche of Ferrari instead. The Caddy is a joke, and the Jag really is too.

We still don`t know what the Jag is capable of but the Cadillac CTS-V still holds the record and is believed to be the fastest Nurburg 4-door runner @ 7:59.32. The current M5 is no longer in a league of it`s own, that is until the next one comes out.

It still is, it has never been about performance but about unrivaled driving pleasure.

The E60 is being replaced next year, but it seems BMWs are like wine - the get better with time My God that M5 looks hot, and the Alpina is just marvelous
