Hi Everybody ,

I'm amazed time and time again with how low they get on Top Gear .
It is a great program , very interesting , and I enjoy watching it each time .
However , JC is always , but always against BMW .
I'm beginning to get sick and tired about it . BMWs are wonderful cars , everybody knows that . Maybe the styling isn't everybody's piece of cake , but still very unique and sporty , and I personally like it very much .
The engines , handling , quality etc. is supreme ...
I was ok with it till they gave the E90 3 series the "ugliest car award" .
This is just horse sh!t !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The E90 is a very beautiful car , and one of the prettiest BMW now in production . The rear lights could be better , but it is still very elegant .


I think JC and Top Gear should leave the BMW bashing and start respecting this car and being fair while testing them .

I mean - look at 5th gear , wonderful testdrives each time and voted the M5 as best car of 2005 . All their reviews are very balanced and true .

balanced and true lmao.....take for instance night vision on the new s class.....the guy said it was crap.....even though he was parked when he used it and to activate it the car has to be going over 15kmh....fifth gear is lame, how is that balanced and true....they are incompetent....i hate vicky butler henderson and everything fifth gear do is pretty much a copy of top gear, they cant deny that, thats just a couple of things and i dont hardly watch it...there is another fifth gear vs top gear thread in this forum somewhere btw i think

TG has better action and a better show but many things they say is garbage or false or ridicolous. Sometimes Jeremy complain on little things that others havent experinced. Worst part with TG was that they nominated E90 as the ugliest car
Sure 5Th gear isnt correct all the time but TG is worse. Also Tiff is a profesional driver and I take his driving impressions more serious than Jeremy.

I watch both shows. I think its great their are several carshows, there are mnay cars we will never ever drive so all carshows are welcomed.

I wouldn't worry about it, if Jeremy Clarkson's wardrobe is anything to go by, then I certainly wouldn't take his opinion on design or style very seriously at all

No seriously, you guys need to understand that Top Gear not a serious motoring program but light-hearted entertainment. You guys are taking it way too seriously. Fifth Gear is more or less the same, only a little less extreme.
For a serious (very serious) approach check out Auto motor und sport TV on Deutsche Welle, if you can.

Yeah, you guys need to get the sand out of your vaginas about the BMW 3 series being the ugliest car. It is obviously not as ugly as the other ones they showed, which is why it's funny. The show is supposed to be entertaining, but it's pretty clear they think the E90 is ugly and just express it in an over the top way.

Yeah I think we have a couple, but it's just a saying. I wouldn't think it would be offensive even if one were to read it by any chance.

About the E90 3 Series getting the 'Ugliest Car' Award - get over it. It's their opinion, so deal with it.

I personally agree with them to a point - the E90 is pretty damn ugly.

Not worth... I personally don't give a shit what he or JC thinks about E90; for me it's beautiful, for them? Couldn't care less!

I don't have any problems with the JC bacshing BMW once in a while since his jokes are hilarious . In fact he ridicules more or less any car that comes his way but at the end of the day his reviews are great and he does give credit to the cars if they deserv it for example the M5.

Jeremy thinks british cars are God's gift to the humans. No wonder someone throw a pie in his face

It's not the problem if he doesn't like the car or thinks it's ugly, but the problem is that he puts that in public and gives to 3 series ugliest car award, beside some idiotic SsangSyong or whatever it's called shit!

I know that JC wasn't serious when he gave the 3er that award. He and the guys probably did it to show that they don't like the new bangle design.

Well, he did it in the worst way, imo, and that's nothing but pure You don't expect that kind of jokes from a well respected person.

I guess it was 2 against one in the studio and unfortunately the dark side won . This is a really cruel was to piss BMW fans off and I guess lots of 3er owners have sent angry letters to Top Gear. To be honest I would have been equally as angry and you if he would have given the 997 an award for having the most boring design.

Top gear is a show that reviews cars with a more humerous aproach, while 5th gear review cars in a more serious way and with more basic oppinons.
I don't take a crap JC says serious, what annoys me is that most people in the world does. The only reason I watch him is because he is one of the funniest men in the world imo. If I want to know how a car is, I watch Tiff!

Hammond is on both sides of the fence... he loves the Z4, but doesn't like the 3er. James May likes the 5er and 6er, but then again, it seems like he never has a say in the show, hahaha. And as for JC, well he hates every BMW.... he said the ugliest car was the BMW lineup, go figure.

The bad thing though, is I can already tell that when they test the new M3, he's going to crap all over it. Oh well, there will be plenty of other journalists that love the car.
