Wow the Lambo is ALOT faster around the ring!

Let me tell you why. Gallardo weigh 300 kg less and M6 is limited to 250km/h, also Gallardo accelerate faster and probably have better brakes. So its not really a suprise, just logical

M6 wins only in this, but it would still be my choise:
The M6 has tremendous powers, yet it keeps the classic BMW luxurious look (me fan of it). On the other hand, the Gallardo has a more brutal design, more like a supercar, and i still don't like supercars...

V-10 M6 produces 507 hp, Gallardo's 610 hp.

No siko's father, Gallardo has 520 hp

Well of course the Lambo is expected to handle better but i wasn't expecting that wide margin

I'm curious - do they say what the Gallardo acheived on Dottinger Hohe? I would assume around 280 km/h.

Then maybe you should go and study what it takes to beat a Gallardo on a track Not even the mighty R8 can beat the Gallardo.

Well I do have the "Dottinger Hohe VMAX thread" that I created and Sport Auto managed to get the first generation Gallardo up to 283km/h. Nonetheless I'd be interested to see how the Spyder with different aerodynamics, more power and different gearing fares. I guess I'll have to wait..

why such a weird comparison? 911TT Cabrio would have been better.

actually, even the 911 wouldnt a good comparo. the F430 would be the best of the comparisons against the Gallardo.

the only reason why they say its too comfortable because bmw's M models are made for this track take the limiter of the m6 and give new carbon fiber brakes from M technics and it will be faster!!

sorry dude, but there is no way an M6 is taking on a Gallardo on a track. on the straights the M6 may be roughly equal but no speed limiter and carbon ceramic brakes will not be cutting off 15 seconds a lap! the only place on the track the M6 gets to 250 is that back straight.

moreover, looking at those pictures I can tell that the Gallardo Spyder is not fitted with the track package. thus not only does it not have the prefered suspension setup for a track, it doesnt have the carbon ceramic brakes or the P Zero Corsas (R compounds). those three things over 21 km and 172 turns can easily add up to 5 or more seconds.


either way, the Gallardo Spyder is not ment for the track. and the M6 even less so.

Interesting comparison, and no surprise the Lambo won!

Amazed though that the M6 still looks hot next to the Gallardo, but I'd go for the Gallardo because it's more rare, faster, and feels more special!
