In the US, the 3er comes with 16" for stock 328 and 17" for 335. Add one inch if you have sport package. Those are the wheels you get. I have never seen a test where they put accessory rims that BMW offers. | |

I mean, since when did the AMG-kit become something that's more than just cosmetic? Sure there has been talk about an C-class sports package but that's not even out yet. MB is equipping most their C-class show cars with AMG kit in order to make it appeal to younger people. That's what it is all about. |

All three cars can look sportier with those packages so Audi and BMW could had send a S-line A4 and M pack 3 series to be tested but they didn't. Simple as that. We can't blame Mercedes for being smarter. As for "Bitchers, Moaners and Whiners" those are harsh words. No need to get over the edge Luw. ![]()

Interesting info. I just looked it up and here is what's stated about the C-Class Sport in UK. The Sport line gives the C-Class an even more eye-catching look. The distinctive styling instantly sets it apart and emphasises its agile nature. This muscular first impression is backed up by the AMG front and rear aprons and side skirts, as well as the 17" 6-twin-spoke AMG alloy wheels with mixed size tyres – 225/45 at the front and 245/40 at the rear. 18" 5-twin-spoke AMG alloy wheels are available as an option. And the Sport not only looks more dynamic, it feels it too, thanks to sports suspension that’s 15 millimetres lower than standard, speed-sensitive parameter steering with a more direct steering ratio, and drilled brake discs with front brake callipers featuring “Mercedes-Benz” lettering. Then there is also the stanrad optional AMG-kit which is nothing but cosmetic. The question is if the car Autobild used is a C-class sport or simply a C-classwith a cosmetic AMG-kit. | |

| Re: Autobild: (new) MB C350 vs Audi A4 3.2 vs BMW 330i i drove it today..will be making a new thread.. the AMG packag is cosmetic..the only other diffrence is the 15mm lowerd chassi and the drilled brakes.. ohh and something called parameter steering.. plus an exhust system set to a more sporty tune but those things hardly gives the car the mechanicall edge to win comparos.. the visuall yes.. cause it looks so damn HOT
