Yes I know we have the A5 vs 335i poll, but that's only appearance.

Now let's talk the cars OVERALL, meaning: design, engine, etc etc

And it will be interesting how the poll will look compared to the other:

Audi S5

But both Coupés above are looking great! The beautiful colour combination honour the BMW and Audi!!

Hmm that Audi looks a lot better in Black than it did in silver. On the other hand, the BMW looks better in light colors imo.

I picked the 335i. Although this picture of the S5 has made me like it better, the BMW is still my pick in terms of looks. Plus even though it is down on power, it is still the sportier one. Not to mention it's gonna be a hell of a lot cheaper than an S5

allthough i would like to wait for the CLK to make a final decision..
i feel that the option is wierd..and to distant..
so for me its between the audi and bimmer for now
and with these latest pics the S5 looks as good as the 335..
so its down to how they drive
and my experience with the bimmer was very plesant..
and im not sure if audi can bring joy to the driver the same way as the bimmer can..
atleast my experience tells me so ( driven the RS4 and so on)

In terms of looks, I think it is evenly split.
Exterior- I will give to the BMW, although it is very close.
Interior - I will give to the Audi, and I think it is close as well.
Performance wise, I must confess that I am a bit biased here because I am yet to test the S5 just like everyone, so I will have to go the 335i. The E92 335i is one pleasant car to drive.

So on the final analysis, I will go with the BMW.

I love Mercedes-Benz as a rule. But I'm sorry...wait for the new CLK? Life is too bloody short for God sake!

I vote for the S5, because, it looks great and the Audi 4.2 V8 sounds lovely with gobs of torque at any rev.

Both looks good but E92 still has the edge. Also the 335i is faster than those factory times. And another advantage, the 335i has a turbo engine so its easier and cheaper to make it faster.
Give me a 335i with M-package and I still can save money if I dont buy a S5. A S4 cost more than a 335i and since A5 is a Coupe it will cost even more than S4.

BTW audiholic, 335i has a I6 and not a V6 but I have changed it for you

S5 looks far more classy, sporty, sophisticated, and elegant. I can see this car still looking fresh after five years, can't say I could say the same for the E92. Besides that, something tells me this car will handle like it's on rails... we'll see soon enough...

My vote goes for the S5.
It has grown on me so much since the premiere, and those IRL pics made it for me even more.

And I have a sneeky suspision that the S5 is gonna be a hell of a handler/performer! It may be even better then the BMW. We have seen new Audis such as TT or S8 or S3 beating BMW in handling, so I am sure this one will do it as well..but even better! The time where Audi had "a dad horse in the radiator" (as Jeremy Clarkson said before testing the new RS4) are over!

My vote goes for 335i. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the BMW 3.0 tt engine is about the best money can buy.

I'll go for the BMW again. I've said it in the other thread, the picture you're using makes the frond-end of the AUDI look very awkward and heavy and makes the rest of the car look tiny...the proportions look wrong in that pic. I'd suggest you guys use a different pic of the AUDI if you can.

After having seen RL pictures of the S5 my stand in the 355i vs S5 duel has changed. Both cars look awsome but if I drove both I think the agility and the handling of the 335i would win me over, but who knows maybe the power of the 4.2 V8 would give me butterflies.

I have to say I'm loving how everyone is underestimating the potential of the A5.

Is price also a factor? cause one is going to be at least $10,000 cheaper than the other.

Hell yeah. These IRL pictures are so goddamn sexy. This car is sooooo beautiful. I swear manufacturers dont know how to take pics of their own products. Promotional shoots always suck these days.

I absolutely love this car now, Im gonna be dreaming about it. Three years from now and I will own a S5. i will be getting a very nice wage by then and insurance will be alot cheaper.
