Photoshop. Probably a clone stamp and maybe some transparencies.

That's a really quick and dirty one. All you need are two pictures from the same angle.

Re: AMS: V10 "comparsion"

THe next SRT 10 has 600hp!! That is of course in order to not get completely spanked by the Z06, I guarantee the vette is still faster around tracks.

Re: AMS: V10 "comparsion"

Well actually the SRT-10(coupe) is now is quite even with the ZO6
and with 600hp it should get a little advantage on the track.
But the 650bhp BlueDevil should set things back to equlibrium.

Re: AMS: V10 "comparsion"

I noticed they mention the Carrera GT in a side bar,
would have been interesting if the Gallardo and Carrera GT were featured in this article

Anyways, thanks for the great article ree. My personal choice is the S8

Nope, not on racetracks. The Vette simply destroys it there along with just about alomst every Porsche/Lambo/Ferrari. The Z06 is really that good, sadly it was not given Corsa or Cup tyres.

Now back on V10s, I see this as perhaps the greatest NA arhitecture ever.

I remember whem in 1992 it was anounced that that the Renault V10 was the most powerfull engine in F1, more so than the Honda and Ferrari V12s.
From that moment on, they murdered the V8s and V12s out of Formula 1, forcing Ford out of Formula 1 and Ferrari to switch to the V10 configuration.
Over 310 HP per litre they achieved before canned.

Now give me the M5, derestricted.

Re: AMS: V10 "comparsion"

Why do German mags do such interesting articles and English ones don't...

They all are amazing cars. The S8 would be my pick of the lot, too.

All are amazing and represent the top class of today's engineering! To me, this is between S8 and M5...Really perfect cars!
BTW, I have SportAuto issue, the one where they had SL65 on Supertest, and there is a nice and long article about engines. I can post that if you guys want.
