| I love the news about advanced climate control. I think this is a much more compelling luxury story than the "nanny systems" that have been very prominent marketing tools as of late.

| I think the problem is that luxury carmakers focused so heavily on electronics and telmatics for the past 10 years. Which was awesome when that stuff was novel and could only be had in a car... But now with the iPhone being a swiss-army-computer in your pocket, and Android phones supposedly coming with built-in navigation... All that $3,500 add-on tech isn't very impressive. What IS nice - is that this could bode well for the future of luxury in the sense that other, more qualitative elements could become the yardstick by which we measure the true worth of a luxury car. Having a hyperadvanced HVAC system is a great start.

| December 1st 2009 Global Debut Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti today unveiled the all-new 2011 Infiniti M sedan at a media event in Beverly Hills, Calif. Infiniti's halo sedan, which is scheduled to go on sale in late March 2010, will be available in two model designations - the Infiniti M56 with an all-new 420-horsepower 5.6-liter VVEL Direct Injection Gasoline(TM) V8 and the Infiniti M37 with a 330-horsepower 3.7-liter VVEL V6. Both engines are designed to offer more power and increased fuel efficiency versus the previous generation M's V8 and V6 engine offerings. The Infiniti M56 and M37 will be offered in a choice of rear-wheel drive or with Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. The 2011 Infiniti M's completely redesigned body offers authentic sports sedan proportions and evocative new styling with a low front end and deeply sculpted fenders. Inside, the new M's interior is pure Infiniti, combining vibrant, Japanese-influenced design, luxury materials and amenities and premium entertainment systems with driver-oriented sports seating and controls. The new Infiniti M continues its predecessor's tradition of offering an array of advanced technology systems, including Active Noise Control, an innovative Forest Air(TM) climate control system, "Infiniti Drive" selectable drive mode control, Active Trace Control, Eco Pedal and enhanced Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System. The Infiniti M also introduces the new Blind Spot Intervention(TM) (BSI) System, a world's first system that alerts the driver if another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area and helps return the vehicle back toward the center of the lane of travel away from the other vehicle. "The 2011 Infiniti M embodies all of our best thinking, design and quality to date," said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Business Unit. "It's a truly inspired design offering invigorating performance, luxurious comfort and the highest levels of craftsmanship and style ever offered in an Infiniti." Other available 2011 Infiniti M features include a Bose® 2-channel 10-speaker premium audio system or Bose® Studio Surround® sound system with digital 5.1-channel decoding and 16 speakers (including two personal speakers mounted in the shoulders of each front seat), heated steering wheel, climate-controlled front seats, semi-aniline leather and genuine White Ash wood trim that has been enhanced with real silver powder. Also making its debut today was the revised 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan, which goes on sale December 17th at Infiniti retailers nationwide. The G Sedan features a new front exterior design, refined interior treatment and enhanced technology, including an advanced Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System. The Infiniti G37 Coupe and G37 Convertible also receive interior and technology refinements for the 2010 model year. The G Coupe also goes on sale this month, with the G Convertible scheduled for an early February 2010 release. |

| In pictures it comes off a bit too curvy, I hope it translates better in real life. Compared to the previous generation, the rear lights seem a bit derivative, almost CLS-like. I wish the front bumper was better integrated to the body. Also the M56 ought to have quad exhausts. Now I got the shortlist of cons, out of the way this looks to be a great car. I love the finish on the wood. It's original, distinctive, and gorgeous. The oxblood leather color has depth. Dynamically, this looks to give the 5er a run for it's money. The fact that a powerplant like the 5.6 liter V8 paired to a 7 speed is more efficient than the old 4.5 liter with a 5 speed is awesome. Lexus ought to take notice to this and the 5er when it redesigns the GS. Good job, Infiniti. |

| This car means nothing to me... if it would pass by, i forget it in one second. I will remeber it as "some japanese car"... The front appears small and high, i expect broad and low... It is the same wishi washi design like the new BMW 5 series: See it, forget it. Just take the new E from Merc: Its really new design (i don´t know if i like it at all!), you see the car and you look at it. This is new, these are the new main points. So erverthing from the M looks like it has been there thousands of times , thers is nothing special. But, thats only my opinion

| Can't be done here. The brand is not represented. Is not Infiniti trying to be BMW?

| ^^ I don't think so. They've yet to discover their "voice" from a brand personality point of view - but I don't think they owe anything to BMW style-wise. I think Infiniti is trying to be a fusion of Lexus and BMW with its own twist on style - I think the new M looks great, but I'm not sold on the overwhelming organic-ness of the piece. It doesn't speak of power and luxury to me when taken in as a whole, though I think it's mighty fine on its own.

| Not everyone that is being sporty wants to be BMW. They have the sports part of them from Nissan. The way I see it, they are trying to be the sportiest Japanese brand but still offer luxury, especially with their sometimes quirky designs, because Acura is (overall) more sporty than Lexus, but they lack RWD. Infinity on the other hands, has the "in your face" styling, but they are sporty because they offer RWD and AWD.

| Wow, I do like that thing in fact! Interior's a bit massive, a bit of the complex side though. Seats look made with a cheap leather compared to the germans. But hey, looks nice! I like that. The current one is already a pretty car, shame we don't get it in here...
