Infiniti Coupe concept First off I'd like to commend Nissan for taking an already sucessful model and updating the soon to be all-new model(concept you see here) w/ a more refined appearence in the way of smoothing out and perfecting some of the details, instead of breaking away from the exsisting design language and creating a model w/ an all new design, leaving no linkage between itself and its predecessor. Good job Nissan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Infiniti Coupe concept Am I the only one getting lexus wibes when I look at these pcitures? The interior is fantastic but the exterior is boring since the car is more or less identical to the already exsisting Infinity coupe.

Re: Infiniti Coupe concept Yes, beautiful interior, but the exterior design is almost generic and way too safe. I think it's much too early for Infiniti to retrench it's design DNA into predictable evolving forms.

Re: Infiniti Coupe concept I doubt that making a similar design takes much less time than making a clean sheet one. I think the reasons would be more for continuity than to save time. Anyhow, I also reckon it looks like it could have been a Lexus design. The rear somehow really reminds me of the Lexus SC430. The sides could also be any new Lexus design. The front is also somehow anonymous. Only that I know what a G35 coupe already looks like saves it from being a disaster.. Not bad overall, but not quite as innovative as I would like. That 'beak' ridge on the front bumper also seems rather arbitrarily extraneous to me. Anyhow, at least they didn't throw every part of the existing design out the window.
