| Exactly that. It shows how much engine power you have left to use. Typical RR trademark.

| Exactly what it says: the power reserve. Meaning: how much power is still available when pushing the car. The more you push it, the needle drops to lower percentage. So you can see at what power level you drive the car. Eg. when you "waft" elegantly - with moderate speed - and the gauge shows you you still have eg 70% power left / available. That eg. brings confidence in car's capability. Since usually needle never really reaches 0%. It's a retro element from ancient RR cars. ![]() |

| You have to give it to BMW, they are the best there is when it comes to preserving the essensce of their captive brands. VW is good, but BMW is slightly better at it. The vast majority simply wouldn't know that Mini and Rolls are BMW captives by looking at their respective products. That is the textbook example of how it should be. A Bentley (Conti GT) simply shouldn't look like a VW. M
