I'm tired of looking at the same pictures blown up etc. This thread is a non-event. There is nothing more to be done with the above pics. M

Woa, and donñt know if you have realised, but the strim that goes across the dash is much bigger that the one on the W211 bigger even than the one on the 7er. Also the door panels have the strims (alu or wood) in a very high place. Remeber that Hakkinnen video where we saw the door panels. | |

A press spokesman has official approved, that the E-Class photos at the homepage were a mistake…probably by an agency of the Mercedes-Benz marketing company… Mercedes E-Klasse: Vorzeitige Premiere im Web - SPIEGEL ONLINE - Nachrichten - Auto So there will not be any more informations before the official press release in January… But I still don't really think, that it was a mistake…

Remember the case when some of the local BMW sites (was it the UK site?) put Concept M5 on their site way before press release was out. And the next day the pics & info were pulled from the site like nothing really happened. |

| Re: New W212 E-Class Sedan & Estate Thread III (Spy pics & info) Actually if they follow the same protocol as BMW , then they test the upload to the main web site server , not by accident but done to check for seemless intergration so that the web media launch causes no problems when the car is launched. The new Z4 web special has been uploaded and is there on the official site. You just have to discover where it is hidden , by deciphering codes and programmes . On a live test if anyone was looking at the Z4 site ( I did not know the exact day) they would have got the E89 media site. It's all set for go. |

| Re: New W212 E-Class Sedan & Estate Thread III (Spy pics & info) Take a look at the W204 C-Class passing in this picture. You can see certain design similarities which I have brought up before. Hence I believe the E-Class will look much better in real life (provided it isn't in the cheap Classic trim). The W212 almost looks like an enlarged W204 C-Class with a lot of current W211 E-Class design added in except in a boxier shape.
