The interior pictures aren't blurry at all. It's the reflection of the background that ruins them as well as the dirt (water marks) on the windshield.
Of course they can post whatever they want. Maybe I should have put some words in or put in a "j/k" at the end. :eusa_thin
Nice pictures Wimmer, you're certainly very lucky to be in such good terms with the Mercedes dealership. With the basic version looking as good as this, I'm sure the Avantgarde trim would look so much more drool-worthy... When shall we hear of your first test drive?
Hi Mrkc77, You are right, the turn signals provide an optical illusion which makes the mirrors seem smaller than they really are. The Lexus IS series has the new EU regulation mirrors as well.
Thanks Etlomotey............funny that, when I first saw the IS, I didn't think the mirrors look big at all, but on the W204, it was really noticeable. I remember thinking, that can't go on production, its too bloody big!! But now with the indicators, it looks better. Still probably prefer the S or the CLS style mirrors but........ Anyway, the mirrors are a small matter.............the car still looks hot
I am lucky I am on such good terms with them. The folks up there are really nice and let me drive anything I want. I was up at the dealership yesterday asking if I could try that C220 CDI W204, but sadly this car is strictly for salesman only (to get to know the car). One of the salesmen told me that he would gladly let me drive the car, but he values his job too much to get fired over this! Well, the premiere of the W204 C-Class is on March 31st in Mühldorf. Expect a testdrive in April perhaps. :t-cheers:
I am very fragile (Thanks for your concern Chris ) No need to worry about me GermanFoamy -- I don't mind critism. Nobody could ever match the critism I give to myself The thing is, I find some of the styling of this new C class to be quite incongruous and 'untidy' -- just an opinion of course.
