    Audi reeks of inferiority complex...

... and they suffer the lack of true identity. At least in US market.

It sometimes seems Audi can only exist within the context of being compared to BMW & MB. As an anti-BMW, and anti-MB.

^^^^LOL @ the BMW crew (ON TIME AS ALWAYS)

You all support is truly entertaining! Personally I love seeing Audi beat on BMW. It brings me JOY!

I hate these types of advertisements, the ones that go about winning this or that comparison."Audi has beaten BMW in three straight comparisons." That doesn't,in the slightest, make BMW lesser than Audi all of a sudden.

Be as it may but Audi have to live with a bitter truth... They could be the best, however, they lack the real driving sheer; Rwd..!!;)

^ Yep, too bad that this forum, like almost every non Audi centric car forum, has almost no Audi fans. I wonder why? Is it because Audi has almost no real fans and all those cars I see on the road are cheap lease cars from the company they work for???? Hmmm :eusa_thin

I personally think that VW pay the drivers of Audis alot of money to drive Audis. Oops!

Nice, I love ad wars. I hope BMW responds in kind.

Not a big fan of direct comparison advertising, especially when they're comparing subjective issues....BUT, this ad war between Audi and BMW is very entertaining!

I think this is the best war so far between the two:

Audi has much more confidence here in Europe, no need to do these insecure things here. Maybe in a few years the same will be true for the US market?

Uhm... maybe it's because Audi has fewer (and less loud) fanboys?

    Exactly...and now let's wait for BMW's retaliation on Audi's latest:D

Such advertising is restricted in EU. Otherwise I'm sure Audi would be tempted to do in the EU as well. :D

But sure Audi's image in EU is doing far better than in US ... therefore no need for such moves. But if allowed (I guess) Audi would be very tempted to bash BMW in EU as well.

BMW officials have stated several times they are puzzled by the Audi's obsession with BMW.

I guess they don't want to be a second fiddle anymore ... Proud Bavarians, but when "Bavarian automotive pride" is mention EVERYBODY thinks of BMW instantly. No surprise guys @ Audi & VAG are highly frustrated. Since when Swabian pride is mentioned - MB & Porsche come equal.

^^^ The point is 'proud' & 'respect' are earned not won through childish subjective advertising....and in all previous cases BMW's retaliation ads were so much more mature and objective + factual. Audi has to grow up, the more they 'want to be' they more they become a 'wanna be's'! :happy001:
