25 posts in 4 and a half years, I better slow down!

Although in all fairness, I am a consistent lurker on GCF, just lack the energy to really get involved.

These are the ones. I really do not like them (not sure why though, just think that the overall car could do with nicer ones).

Compared to F10 Sport package optional 19's - pretty much identical don't you think?

Yep. Pretty much. I think they suit the Z4, but not the 5 Series.

Who'd have thought it eh? The 5 Series M Sport one huge disappointment. :eusa_doh:

It looks Okayy but I think the Performance Pack will change all feelings of the guys who dont love this M-Pack......I hope

I wouldnt say its disappointing. Its just okay. IMO, the sport pack for the 7 series is disappointing.

xactly what an M pack should be, classy and understated sportiness.

  6. The front bumper is totally wrong. It does't make the car look more agresive (what it shoul do), but just disproportioned. It's not fluent like the e60 M pack. The rear bumper makes the car look like a scale model from Scott's avatar

M-Sport looks nicer in the flesh , much more dramatic - M Division has now moved away from Curves and have now begun to integrate angles and sharper edges - The M-Sport compliments the M5.

    Stunning.

    second that.

    Third that.

People who are disappointed might change their minds later on, when the image has settled in their minds and when they have seen real life pics/better press pics/movies......I hope so at least. The reaction to the F10 M sport is a far cry from the first reactions to the E60 M sport.

All I can honestly say that that first picture of the white F10 M sport from the 3/4 rear is a horrible shot. I don't like the back much either in that pic, but in the other pic dead from behind it looks quite stunning. The font bumper interior and side skirts look good, and I don't not have a problems with the wheels either, although I do agree that BMW has MUCH better ones.

I think I'll wait until I can actually see the car in the photos before passing judgement on the black one. The interior trims look good though.

Click on the link, it's looking really good in those pics imo!

BTW, Betty, I thought of something: maybe you don't like the back bumper because on the white car, they put the high gloss shadowline (or whatever it's called) instead of the regular black (non shiny) bumper.
The Carbon Black 535d in the pics has the regular plastic diffusor for the M pack, and it looks much better imo.
    What do you think?

Whaaa??? Has the 300 hp monster finally arrived??? Sure looks like it, awesome :cool:

It might be just for the black colours. I think the 5er should have the shiny one, as the plastic one looks more apropiate for the 3er. I think that 535d is a bad example as you can´t see how it really looks. Silver or white provides a much more realistic perspective of how the car looks with the M Sport Pack, the black colour is like not being fair, everything looks better in black, as it hides the bad details.
  15. klier Member

Hmm, well I think a white car with a shiny black diffusor is not so good looking. I much prefer the matte black diffusor on the 535d, and I'm sure a matte black one on the white car would be better as well. But that's completely personal of course.

Edit; but now I'm not even sure anymore; the plasic on the 535d looks shiny as well when I make the image bigger...
Hmm...I'll just shut up until I've seen more of the M pack.

BTW, I´ve spent a few seconds looking at the rear of the 535d and it reflects the flor, the diffusor I mean, so I guess is shiny too, it´s only the angle, the pic, that make it looks like the 3er one.
  17. klier Member

Yes you're right, I realised that too. It's reflecting thefloor among other things, thus it's shiny.
