Looks stunning on the Limousine - but still don't like it for the Touring! Nevertheless I still think, that some of the elegant, exclusive and expensive style and look of the standard 5 will be lost…
Oooops, I regret of what I said with the leak of the Touring. The front bumper looks horrible, the elegance and character of the F10 is completly lost with this pack. It´s too angular for my taste. I also have to agree with Betty, the wheels looks far worse that some of the optional wheels for the standard 5er, for exmaple the ones on the press pics. the reaer looks so so, and the interior looks fantastic, the seats are the nicest one I´ve seen in a BMW in a very very long time. Overall, I wouldn´t pay for the M pack, at least for now.
And now the verdict that the whole forum is waiting for......mine. Body kit? Better now than what we saw in the leaked photos. The front I do like quite a lot. The rear? Not really fussed. It's just different but not better. Wheels? Exactly the same thoughts as I had before. There are much nicer wheels available on the non-M Sport 5 Series and even the official accessory ones available to mod your car afterwards. Hmmm.....Maybe the wheels will look better in real life but the ones on the white car are the optional 19" wheels and BMW really should do better than that. This design is virtually identical to the 18" M Sport wheels for the 1 Series, and they look good on the 1 Series but don't suit the 5er. They are far worse than the two sets available on the E60. So, overall verdict? :t-hands:
Nice front impact for me, but not liking the raised red reflectors on the rear AT ALL. I'm quite happy my 535i is coming standard.
***!!! I dont like this..im gutted..i was waiting for the M pack to top off a great looking sedan.. Instead it makes it wierd, the front is to angular, and the rear is wierd with those black parts.. Both rimms suck!!! Give me standard..and i hope to hell this is NOT an indication on the M5
It's not that much more sportier than the regular one. The front looks quite nice, but don't like the rear.
The front of the car is still the weakest of it. Here it looks like it is trying to be aggressive, but it's not very convincing... The headlights and lines of the front above the bumper are too soft and don't blend in well with the bumper.
Front is great... rims are OK... rear skirt is bad. When did it start that sports packages begin to offer cheap looking plastic instead of a body-colour bumper. It's not just BMW, all seem to do that now. yup, especially in a light colour.
Oh dear. I think the reaction is "mixed" at best. This is a huge thumbs down and is going to be hard to accept for people who predicted the F10 M Sport was going to be one of the best looking cars ever.
I think it´s the same case as with the 7er and the Z4. When I knew an M Pack for the 7er was comming I said WOOWW, that thing is gonna kick ass, and then that stupid chrome strips that runned the car appereance. Then the Z4 and its stupid rear bumper, with that black plastic thing, and now this. A more subtle touch would have given a much better result. People were claimming for a bit more of character in the fornt, not that much, the M front bumper has nothing to do with the rounded lines of the car, and the rear has those tiny exhaust, and those little red deflectors to close to the rearlights that give an extrange look to the car. And the wheels are terrible. Honestly, the more I see it, the more I dislike it.
I like the front, wheels are o.k., hate the rear. Standard version for me unless it looks much better IRL.
Looking at the angles of the front bumper and accounting for BMW's total lack of ability to capture the true looks of a car in press photos, I'm going to wait to see this one in real life; just to get the entire picture.
I'm with Betty on this one. It's the good old 208M all over again. They are perfect on the 1-series. Not here.
Agree. I was loving it then I seen the back :eusa_doh:. Why did they have to mess up a good looking sedan? I pray to God that the M5 doesn't get that rear bumper.
