So, Ultimate Garage you say? Well for this you really do need an ultimate garage in the literal sense. I'm not talking Jay Leno warehouse proportions, I was thinking more along the lines of keeping the cars at home. So, home has to be commensurately lavish and enormous. I'm visualising a property set on a hillside; this presents the ability to have multiple garage structures at staggered levels, all of them integrated with the overall post-modern style of the house. So, three separate structures, each with 3 doors, two bays deep. That's 18 bays! Strewth... more than that I can't visualise.

    Garage One - The Unattainables:

Ferrari 458 Italia - in that new sparkly metallic red - Peerless, at any price. Sadly, anything else in the garage might pale in comparison.
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano - in the same red - Can't just have one Ferrari now can you? The best GT ever made.
Ferrari 16M Spider - Rosso red, grey decals - Yeah, that'll take care of the "definitive open top motoring experience". One more Ferrari never hurt anyone.
Audi R8 V10 Manual - slate grey, silver sideblades - A masterful piece of machinery that is apparently an absolute delight to drive.
Aston Martin Rapide - dark, dark metallic grey - For the sheer beauty of the thing and its ability to cross a continent in both style and comfort.
Jaguar XKR Convertible - silver - The price actually isn't that unimaginable but what is, is how much style, class and genuine virtue you get from this brilliant boulevard cruiser.

Garage Two - The Hooligan machines:

Porsche 911 GT3 RS - white/gold, slate/silver - Regardless of the colour scheme, simply a must have for those track days.
Nissan GT-R - pearlescent white - I'd be mad not to have one.
BMW M3 Coupe - white, CFRP roof - an incredibly desirable machine at any price and an epic road car.
Subaru WRX STI R205 - white - The definition of A-to-B quick, it's my ultimate hyperhatch and it's a very special Scoob of course!
Porsche Boxster Spyder - white, light grey decals - A very pure, very appealling little Porsche.
BMW M3 CSL - steel grey - A car that's said to be unimaginably good. I don't have to imagine. I just remember.

Garage Three - Those little luxuries in life:

Porsche 911 Turbo PDK - Space grey - The ultimate daily supercar.
Porsche Cayenne 2 Turbo - white - A car that dad, mom and kid would all love.
Mercedes Benz S600 - silver - When it comes to luxury limos, why f@$k around? The definitive luxury car and all the luxury that could ever be necessary or justifiable.
Toyota Land Cruiser 100 - white - For when the family goes exploring
Mercedes Benz G-Wagen - Desert beige - For when the boys go exploring (like those Ozzie military versions - awesome) and the Land Cruiser's not tough enough
    BMW F10 M5 - Titanium silver - Gotta have an M5 no?

Many favourite cars of mine didn't make it into the garage as I was trying to be a realistic as is possible with this daft dreaming. Many of them were left out as a result of being LHD only, such as the sublime Porsche CGT and the mad Ferrari Enzo. I would loved to have squeezed a Pagani Zonda F Roadster in over the Ferrari 16M - heck, I may still do just that...

Fantastic list martinbo - but sad not to see a Subaru listed (for daily driving or anything like that)!

Been ages since I did one of these....actually, it's been ages since I've posted anything worth while on this forum. I really lost it for all things automotive related a while back, but as of late that old familar feeling has been sneaking it's head 'round again.

So then, here is my list:

    2000 Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo
At the end of each and every day in the automotive world, I can't help but come back to the vehicle that made me love supercars. My earliest automotive crush was undoubtedly the Esprit, and through the ages my love for it has only grown. In a world of overly excessive garbage, the Esprit shines in my eyes as a legend. Welcome to the 90's.

    1999 Acura (Honda) NSX
One of the most influential sports cars of the 1990's...even if many aren't willing to admit it. I'll always love this car.

    2002 Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3
There's nothing like it. There never will be again.

    1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG
Subtle yet agressive, beefy but powerful.

    1999 Lexus SC400
Another childhood hero of mine. My father had one. Still one of the greatest Japanese luxury vehicles ever made.

    2002 BMW Z8
Too bad people have such short memories...I don't care what anyone says, the Z8 was one of the most spectacular cars to ever hit the road. Way ahead of it's time.

    And last, but not least:

    1996 Porsche 911 993 Turbo
The best looking and most solid 911 they'll ever be.

There are so many favourite that I did not include...such as the: Ford GT; TVR Sagaris; BMW Z8; Lamborghini Countach; Porsche Carrera GT; Aston Martin V8 Virage and many more, but realistically (even if we are dreaming) seven is way too many as it is.

    1. I don't want a car that takes up two bays! ;)
    2. See my S600. That's all the luxury I'll ever need. As good as the Roller is, it's just too excessive.

    ^^ So why now a 750i instead of 760i???
  16. Merc1 Premium Member

LWB 7 is just too goofy looking on the road, and the 760 doesn't come in SWB as far as I know of.
