As people already know i love the Wiesmann GT and this is sad, but i want you BMW fans to take a very close look at these pictures.. see anything different about this Wiesmann..?

    Orignal site here

"An accident with the prototype of a car caused a damage of nearly 190,000 euro on the motorway Frankfurt Koblenz (A 48). With that it obviously concerns 180,000 euro test cars a sports car of the noble edelschmiede pointing man.

According to police data of Wednesday the driver of the expensive test car close of the Rhineland-Palatinian Wirges probably lost 180,000 euro because of to fast travel control of the car, which hit only into the central protective plank and then against the semitrailer of a double train. Afterwards the car turned several times around the own axle and hurled again against the central plank, before it remained standing.

    Driver intactly, car scrap iron
“The driver remained as intact by a miracle”, was called it in the police report. Rubble parts were hurled on the Gegenfahrbahn, where they damaged the tank of a double train. This lost bio Diesels and had 300 litres from its tank evacuate to let. Besides rubble parts damaged the front tire of another car. The damage to the guard rails became estimated on 4000 euro."

so basically this will be the unofficial BMW supercar, betcha M enineers did not just deliver the V10, there must have been extensive cooperation for the drivetrain

Oh yes, most certaintly, BMW has actually been working with Wiesmann since 1993 when the company was founded. Wiesmann relies on BMW very much and apperantly a few BMW CEO's own Wiesmann vehicles (y)

For instance the MF3 Roadster shares the front suspension from an E46 M3 and the same 6 speed manual or SMG gearboxes as in the latest BMW's. For the MF3 Roadster Wiesmann offers either the E46 M3 6-cylinder with 343PS or the 330Ci (last generation) engine.

A few magazines had been told by Wiesmann that they were looking at the possibilty of dropping the M5's V10 into the MF4 (which as of right now uses BMW's 4.8 litre V8). It appears they've been testing that engine :D

I like this car very much as well, can't wait to read offical stats for the Wiesmann GT w/ the S85 V10.:t-cheers:

Yeah it should be mental. FYI, right now the MF4 with the 4.8 litre BMW motor, 367PS, weighs 1290kg fully loaded with a 68kg driver and hits 200 km/h-0 in 16.0 seconds flat. I'm sure with the M5 V10 it'll gain weight but i think we can expect the 0-200 km/h time to drop to around 12, 13 seconds. (y)

Much heavier M5 with the same engine does 0-200 in cca 13 secs... This one should be even faster due to it's lower weight and those tractor tires... Right? Wrong?

    Actually right :)

    The M5 does 0-200 km/h in 13.8 second i believe, let's say this Wiesmann does 12.3 :D

you mean we didn't know it had the M5 V10? Then it is sure great spy pics :D

Best 0-200 time for the M5 is 13.5 (Sport Auto were slopy on this one), for the M6 12.8 (with P Zero Corsas Sport Auto), so for a light car such as the Wiesmann bellow 11 seconds is posible IMO, but with SMG as a must and P Zero Corsas.

Sorry i don't see much difference for 13.5 and 13.8 ;) Same thing, regardless, thanks for the new number. Below 11 is possible but i doubt it, we'll have to wait for final specs about gearbox and etc.
