AC S. has apparently broken the code how to modify the 335 turbo engine and apparently its easy to modify the engine. BMW accusing them of industry-spionage.

AC Schnitzer has stopped selling enginemodification on their webpage. AC S. has deleted it from their webpage, its was online a couple of days ago.

This isnt officiall yet. Lets see what happens.

too complicated to translate it but if you are from sweden you understand it

AC S has apparently offered tuning via the OBD interface. To make this tuning possible one needs the RCA code which would require industry-spionage to get hold of. Hence the sue.

Hope you get the point which Andreas sort of already explained.

I thought the ODB interface was supposed to be open for everybody.

More power is always good. :eusa_danc

But seriously, this sounds pretty serious. Especially if AC Schnitzer posts this on their website - without permission from BMW. BMW would probably never have given permission anyway...
