Facelift so I think it will get LED angel eyes, LED blinkers and maybe LED brakes, thought I do not se those parts comoed. I hope it will also get the new steering and the new button panels for A/C and iDrive. Upgraded interior materials wouldn't be bad either. As for the rest this car is quite ok, alot better looking than the Q3 and the 1 Series IMO. X1 M35i ?

Like the imminent 135i Sporthatches. The X1 LCi will receive a Six cylinder turbo and an M developed chassis and steering with the new X1 M35i xDrive which will be exclusive to the BMW M Performance line. It will also spearhead the M Performance line's first arrival in the US Market.
The X1 LCi is a subtle update in terms of the exterior although the front lower profile is all new and more stylish than the current car's. and blends better with the more sportier proportions and looks of the X1. The interior in highly visible areas now receives better quality materials. The X1 is still the best selling SAV in Europe and still is selling like the proverbial hotcakes , despite the Audi Q3 arriving on the market.

Found this, ironically on the same ZA forum as the 135i Sportshatch.
It seems it has been overlooked as the car was photographed back in early March in Cape Town, BMW's most used location in media shoots for new models.

But with the LCi of the X1 , BMW are using the opportunity to keep the car , fresh and current as it still remains Europes no 1 vehicle in the SUV category.
A feat which has kept the US Market distanced from the X1 since BMW could not keep up with demand for other markets.
BMW are hoping that the X1 will continue its success in the US Market for the Compact SAV.

The X1 will continue to be built in Leipzig as before but other markets such as China will soon begin to manufacture the X1 for Asian markets.

The X1 in European specification shown here is in Valencia Orange.
I am not entirely 100% sure whether the US will get Valencia Orange as the US arm of BMW M. might want to keep VO in the US exclusive to the 1er M Coupe only.

Since the X1 will also be manufactured in a new State of the art production facility that mirrors the layout of Leipzig. The next date for the new X1 after the World Premiere at the NYIAS will be at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing at the end of April.

Look out for full details next week.

Flickr's-on-a-roll, first the new GL and now the X1 :eusa_danc

The X1's grown on many. Fact is a few flaws yes, but the sportiest in it's class and a TRUE Beemer behind the wheel;) Never disappoints in driving pleasure.

FL looks better and that long nose just does something for me and the wife:)

Just imagine it this way...IF you have the imagination:D
