M6 should be at 7.50 with those Pilot Supersports and ceramic brakes IMO.

    No M5 numbers yet?

XKR-S is the best alternative to the M6 that exists... it even weights the same :)
What a beautiful and joyful car it is :icondrool
I can't wait to see that engine in the XFR-S and compared to the M5 :)

No, but I'm sure that the M5-Supertest is in the making. ;)

No mention of it in the actual issue. I hope it will be the Aventador.

No Supertest in this months issue, because Horst von Saurma broke his left shoulder...

    Next Supertest: Audi RS5 (May 18, 2012)

Great job by the RS5!! Beating the official time of the RS4 B7 by 10 seconds!! That is a huge step forward, especially that the RS4 B7 was as good as it was.

1880Kgs, doesn't that sound a bit heavier than normal, I wonder what addtitional equipment Audi loaded this car with?

Either way this time of 7:59 is quite an achievement considering the weight and as far as I am aware the RS5 tyres aren't quite as sticky as the ones that come on the M3s. Maybe those rumored times during testing of low seven fifties were true all along.

And when Toyota GT86 or Lexus LFA, or even the M3 GTS don't have sticky tires it does not count.

But when BMW M claims the M5 F10 to run the N-Ring in 7:50 min it can't be true.

^ Why can't it be true that the M5 did 7:50, I thought its already done the ring in around 7:55-6?
  16. Tumbo Audi/MB/VW/Lambo fan

Why? It should obvious that it can do a time like that. Who said it cant be true?
  17. Tumbo Audi/MB/VW/Lambo fan

It's absolutely insane how heavy it is...

Why do you always have to come up with the GT86 and LFA?
Please stop this kind of OT-ing. Thank you.

Since the M5s brakes and tyres are getting tired after 3 or 4 kilometers on the flat Hockenheimring, it is hard to believe that it can manage a sub 7.55-8.00 min time around the bumpy, 20,6 km-long Nordschleife. Maybe with ceramics and better tyes.

This testcar is 68 kgs heavier than the one tested by AutoBild Sportscars a month ago.

I cant wait for the M6 with ceramic brakes . I expect under 8.00 min or I will be using the word 'failure' :D
