It is quite pretty ....but why am I thinking this looks like the result of a one night stand between a Peugeot and a Mitsubishi after a reckless 24 hour drinking binge?

    VW Scirocco Coupe Launch Date

VW Golf based Scirocco Coupe will be launched in Europe in September 2008. Still no word whether the Scirocco will head over to the States, even though we have heard that VW is negative about it believes that the coupe will cannibalize sales from the GTI.

What a boring center console, looks like any VW. Lets hope the exterior won't be bland.

I just don't see the point of this thing. Its just another hatchback, only difference it is squashed in the rear. It isn't a real sports coupe/low slung hatch like the Corrado and original Scirocco. Unless this thing uses the newer 3.6L V6 with 300hp then what is the point? A GTI or R32 already does the job.

Looks like it has, like already said, the interior of the Eos...Not bad, but I was expecting something more sporty, more original. A bit TT-like interior, like the Concept...I am deceived by that move. This Scirocco deserved its own interior! I hope at least a sporty steering wheel.

The exterior seems very close to the concept, only question seems to be the grille...Love it. Very sleek and beautiful car.

I feel let down as well because I was expecting the car to feature new generation Golf interior but it seem like VW is getting worse and worse for every new car. They have lost their sense of creativity and keep recycling the same interiors accompanies by bland and generic design.

    It's a photoshoped Eos brochure.

Are you sure? It was already mentionned, and seen in spy pics, that the Scirocco would have the exact same interior as the Eos...

And all VW brochures looks the same (not surprising, they now have two different interiors for the whole line-up :D)...

However it is sure that they look surprisingly identical, same views, same equipments in the little pics...
And exact same seats...I thought at least seats and steering would be different...

It's an Eos brochure. If you look at the "scirocco" one there are four window switches, the scirocco only has two windows that go down. The 2 pictures of the "scirocco" are ones that have been around, and the wheels are from the passat cc.

Nice catch...the window switches said it all!
Also, the side window does not have the right shape, if it was the Scirocco it would be lower, less rounded...
