1st place: Audi RS5 Powerful high-revving engine, very fast gearbox, first class traction thanks to AWD and sportdifferential. Understeer is minimal, the brakes are powerful. Acceleration is very impressive with Launch Control: 14,7 s from 0 to 200 km/h with full tank of fuel and one person onboard (M3 DKG: 15,3 s). 2nd place: BMW 650i x-Drive Wonderful gearbox with double-clutch-like shifting times, great flexibility in all gears. Thanks to x-Drive it is quicker up to 100 km/h than the RWD 650i by two tenths.
Or cold winter... They managed 15,4 s (0-200 km/h) with the pre-facelift RS5 last year (also in winter). The one they've tested on the summer of 2010 ran 0-200 km/h in 16,3 s. So my guess is the same as always: different conditions.
Similar conditions yet yielding an improvement of 0.7s from pre to post facelift. I'm only interested in this result because of a comment from the dealer that suggested my above post.
Damn; 14.7 to 200km/h is a great time! I love the 650, but the RS5 is to good for it! Put it up against the new M6, then I gonna have a hard time choosing I think putting the 650 X-Drive against the S5, would be a better match to.
Im shocked that the 650 is leading this poll... Totally shocked. It sure is a nice car, but now way in hell that I would pick it over a monster as RS5.
I choose RS5 as well but I understand if someone pick the Bimmer. It got the looks, comfort and is quick enough. Not everyone are into performance.
