What the hell did they do to the brakes!! 31.7 metres is insane!! Don't want to know, what happens to my organs inside my body.
Good showing by the LP570. The claimed 0-200km/h in 10,2s might be attainable in some other mags, considering AMS/SA are usually a bit slower than average. As for braking, isn´t it AMS record ? Never seen that kind of number in AMS. The difference compared to Turbo S/SLS/R8 in the other test is colossal. Handling (18m,110m) is nothing special though. 458 did better despite using regular tires only. :eusa_thin
The car was tested on a hot day (28 Degrees Celsius), so that 10,5 s time is very impressive. It would be faster on a colder day. And that 31,7 m is for the 10th braking... At the 5th braking they measured 31,1 metres!!! These aren't just AMS-records, these are absolute records! :t-cheers:
The SL is definitely my fav current Lambo at the moment..looking at numbers the Italia is still more flexible than it..time for a new Gallardo.
AMS already tested all these three. You just have to compare them. Seriously, there will be a huge supercomparo in the next issue of italian Quattroruote. 458 Italia, Gallardo SL, R8 V10... they will be there. Hopefully they will test a Turbo PDK or Turbo S as well.
there you go some say that the results are Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera 0-160:6,9 Porsche 997 Turbo S 0-100:3,0 0-160:6,5 0-200:10,0
LOOOOOOOOOOOOL, I never said it was, i brought the attentions on the comparison and if you can really take a closer look you will notice that i also posted a link or "http://www.autozeitung.de/node/387257/15" with the image
There's a big difference of course... if you just go up to the gorgeous lady at the bar and say "Z4 sDrive35iS" you'll get a cocktail thrown in your face. But, when you say "Lamborghini Superleggera" like a proper Italian crooner, chances are your cock is going to get some tail. It's not just how long the name is, it's how it sounds too... and Z4 sDrive35iS sounds rubbish for a car.
STUNNING! But looking at the braking performance, i've decided to cancel my order for the LP570. Chances of being rear ended are way too high... :eusa_thin
Turbo - http://www.germancarforum.com/911/31468-ams-sport-auto-porsche-911-turbo-pdk-test.html Turbo S - http://www.germancarforum.com/inter...benz-sls-amg-porsche-911-turbo-s-aerokit.html 911 GT2 RS - Maybe in one of the next issues of AMS. :t-cheers:
