Is it the new A6 and wich car won?

A concept-comparison with facts about the cars' body-, suspension-, engine-, gearbox-, AWD-, Assistant-systems-, Multimedia-variations.

    Yes, the new one.
No winner, since it's not a real hth comparison.

Seems like they worked pretty hard in trying to find the most unappealing and dull photos of the 5er and E-class.

The leader of the segment aka the 5-Series for me please! :t-cheers:

Lookswise, it's the A6 hands down for me. I'm very happy with the way it turned out, can't wait to read some drive reports.

IMO each one of the trio should / would keep it's current and past customer base. That said if one of the three can make you switch brands it would undoubtedly be the BMW F10 5 series;) :t-cheers:

AND the cat amongst the pigeons in this segment will be the FL Jaguar XF...

The F10 is geared to pull in the Lexus, and M-B W211-who don't like the new M-B designs crowd for sure, and I think it will succeed whilst keeping some of the BMW loyalists happy (design wise, it will keep them happy, driving dynamics wise, it has upset many).

Stylistically, the W212 seems to attract many first time M-B buyers who were waiting for something a bit more daring to look at (lots of W210 buyers, and owners of M-B's who skipped out on the '00 era seemed to come back with it as well), whilst attracting some buyers who like the Bangle quirkiness, and find the F10 to be a bit too passive.
