yes SLR has precense but I would still choose CLK-DTM over a SLR

No, this is the same Komprssor V8. The powerboosted SLR will be released later this year I believe.

I second that Artist! I also agree with Just_me about the presence!
The SLR has almost twice the presence of even the Ferrari 599 GTB,
it looks twice as expensive. Only the Buagtti Veyron surpasses the SLR as the most expensive looking supercar imo.

yep agree with you..gotta add the zonda in there also..it looks damn exotic and expensive

I bet Artist is going to say Zonda instead of veyron

Oh my, I should have added the Zonda somewhere in there. The Zonda is on a whole different level than any other supercar design. It`s very organic. It desn`t have the "industrial" feel.

That car is like a very fine Italian suit that has been crafted by hand with a lot of care. Thats something you don`t see in any other supercar.

They've pretty much improved on everything without making it a totally different car.

Yeah, I remeber the thread you created on the Sport SLR. The improvements
should be really impressive to say the least. I believe MB is being a little too
conservitive with those numbers though, thats very typical of them.

This is a really old article I remember reading almost a year ago. Its where they compare the beachcraft to the SLR based on the Carbon Fiber structures of both..Not a bad read.

So a SLR Sport is coming soon ?? I guess I should hold my horses for one of those ....
