It's another one of those epic battles.

    AWD vs RWD
    Manual vs DCT

and now N/A vs FI. :D

Amazing automobile. Ferrari has raised the bar so high of late that frankly, nothing comes close. It's great to see such a revered brand continue to thrive and improve while remaining true to its core strengths and heritage. Remarkable accomplishment in today's world.:eusa_clap

As much as I am in awe in front of such level of performance, just like I couldn't like the Enzo, I still cannot get used to the look of this car. 599 (GTO) is the king for me.

It only took 18 years to make this type of performance somewhat "afordable" ;)

    The 458 is simply amazing!

The McLaren weights 1,140 kg curb (1,380 kg for the 458) ... if Ferrari manage to take of ~150 kg with the Scuderia version the 458 should be on par with the F1, at least until they reach 250km/h

I think 1380kg is the dry weight for the Italia, the weight on this test was in fact 1530kg, making the performance even more amazing. I recall the curb of Mac F1 being 1138kg like you said.

1380 is dry weight, you are correct :eusa_doh:

Woowwwwwwwwww, this car easily EATS any supercar currently on the market. It destroys SLS but i think it is not fair to compare SLS to this monster.SLS performed better than i expected. It is as fast as a Turbo PDK on the track and faster than R8 V10.

Is here a French member ?

There is a supertest featuring 458 and LP570 in current Motorsport mag, I accidentally noticed.

Yeah the only car right now that can give it a serious challenge is probably a Turbo PDK :D
