A Visual Timeline Review of the Iconic BMW M5 Sports Sedan

Not sure if this has already been posted but it provides a pretty good visual of the 'hot side, inside' layout.

M5, M3 and S1000RR fooling around.

I will burn up one set of tires like that in my time with this car and thats it. Yikes.

I finally sat in the F10 M5 today. Suddenly the desire to "must have it" has significantly gone up.

You're in the U.S.? Where did you get a chance to sit in one? They've all been locked at the auto show so far. Does a dealer have one??

At the Windy City auto show. Its not open to public but I have press pass and the nice people from BMW opened the M5 for me (which was locked) and 2 others. Its behind the glass fence so general public cannot get in the car.

Gorgeous car. What a beast.

I'm jealous. My home town and I don't live there anymore....grrrr. Detroit had the same car locked up tight.

While at the show I asked BMW folks about Monte Carlo blue and Estoril blue and if they were the same. He said that they are different colors and Monte Carlo is more deeper and vibrant. Estoril is lighter when compared to Monte Carlo. He also hinted that Estoril blue is coming back and will be offered with M-sport pack. He won't say which specific BMWs it will be offered on.
