    :D

It's not a case of it not being to my taste. I am simply saying the engine sounds relatively crap for a V8 is all. That's not to say it sounds crap altogether - in the street ordinary people will turn heads and say "wow that sounds good".

But its kinda cool to be unique and not to sound like every other muscle cars do :)

Video I posted in #922 was filmed by a guy from Sweden and he isn't exactly a BMW fan, more like MB fan and he said the sound was indeed good and louder than he expected. If a MB fan say a thing like that then it must mean something ;)

which is exactly why bmw invested in some high fidelity speakers to channel that fake engine sounds back to you, Active Sound Design v2 rumoured to employ outboard speakers so passers by can too enjoy the full experience

Yes it's much better to sound like every other washing machine. But that's what you get when you fit an suv engine or 5gt engine in the case of the 1m.

Washing machine? sounds more like you when you snore.

The CLS looks really hot in contrast with the 5er actually. Makes it look rather stodgy.

^Of course nothing new..the battle of looks will be with M 6er GC.

It have a more unusual look but still lacks the simpleness and elegance of a M5. Add a E63 and CLS63 would be still look more special.

I actually think that the E looks pretty dynamic and even more aggressive than the CLS when next to it, aside from the rear.

I saw a CLS and modified F10 next to each other once, at a car show, and actually kind of preferred the F10's smoother and more simplified look up close. However, from far, and at different angles, the F10's very muted and upright look can work against it when next to a more dynamic.... if even fussier design.

    M5 > CLS63. Without any hesitation.

"My subjective opinion is better than your subjective opinion".

Seriously, how much more can people debate which car is better looking than another?

If I was solely buying with my eyes in that comparison between M5 and CLS63 then Mercedes would be my choice.

Thanks guys, let's keep what you'll buy for internal combustion. That comparison should not have been posted here in the official thread.

Previous M5 looks more special and stands out better due to its special design but the new M5 looks more elegant and massive.

The E60 M5 definitely looks more exotic.
