That's the M5 I'd get if I could. Manual all the way.
Are those the only wheels for the M5? Haven't seen any with any other option.

Hottest F10 without question. Tropical colours are rarely meant for sedans but the car rocks the orange as good as a Lamborghini.

Thanks for sharing HQ photos Palboy.

Nineteen inch multi-spokes are standard, but it seems that either the 20" wheels are more popular or that the initial builds are getting 20-inchers so BMW can capitalize on making more $$$$. Personally, I prefer the multi-spokes, as it reminds me of the E39 M5, and on daily driving, I'd imagine it would be more comfortable without giving too much on the performance front. However, I can't personally back up that claim nor have I seen any articles comparing the two wheels.

I don't know why is BMW yet putting the 10 year old ZHP shift knob for their manual M cars. I hope the M3 F80 will get a new shift knob.

Because it's a very well designed item. No need to create a new one. This one is simplicity at its best!

I don't mind the analogue gear knob. It gives the car a charm like a good old school hammer with a rubber handle - the epitome of manual work just like that gear shifter.

Old school hammer has a wooden handle.

I know the shifter is good, but design wise it just doesn't fit the new BMW interiors. In this case why not put a true motorsport gear knob like this one ?

^Yea trying touching that on a hot summer day after parking your car in the sun for a few hours. Or for that matter I doubt it feels good in the winter either.

Eh, I don't really get it. Slow down the frame annoyingly 3 times to see the car crash through something? WTF is an apple doing there?

The E39 one is still the king, by far.

Eh, it's just an advert. The metaphorical likening of an M5 to a speeding bullet that's being filmed in the super slow-mo that's so overused these days. The "bullet" being lauched out of a barrel and through three typical targets. Nothing more to get really.

So, I found out my dad's friend got the new M5...

I picked it up for the weekend to drive for a few days. It was literally a dream come true. Driving impressions here: http://perfectsteer.wordpress.com/2012/07/04/5-for-fighting/

Overall, just what I expected... I still don't know what to feel about this car.

My dealer has an imola red in his warehouse, too bad it was dusty pre-delivery or I would have taken some footage of that color. looked amazing BTW. Still white is my favourite.
