Damn...I like this a lot. This looks heavily influenced by the new Cayenne, IMO.

right Ramen, and I think it might look better than the cayenne.

No, Sayyaaf..comparing apples with apples...the new Cayenne is around the corner and will look better, more German more Porsche more sporty, elegant and brutish!

Is the Adaptive Air Suspension standard or optional?

I'm quite liking this. Very good job by VW. Much better than the first one. Not overcomplicated, but interesting enough. About it being too 'bland' well its a Tuareg...

I don't think its bland, look at the E53/E70 BMW X5, same situation here, V2.0 is much sportier, more refined.

Or ML 1 vs ML 2
Or Cayenne 1 vs Cayenne 2
Somehow these big German SUVs stay very close to the original design...

The car looks quite good from the front and side, rear and rear 3/4 a little less so. I am no fan of the interior either, though it sure doesn't look like a volkswagen. Looks pretty upscale, but way too American or something...

Design is about equal to the current Touareg when it first came out. It's quite pretty, but it will become boring fast imo...

LOL, here we go again :D

I wonder the same thing. It appears to be a bit smaller than the mkI.

    Based on the Q5 ?
The Q5 is A4 size and it's rather small if you ask me.
I belive Touareg still is Q7/Caynne/ size..
Cause they still produce those cars at the same plant..
At least that's what they used to do.

and my verdict about Touareg MKII design it's cool and good.

Very beautiful interior with plenty of buttons, huge screen, etc its like the previous model. I like all these electronic stuff.

I have some questions although for the exterior design.
The front view does not look so good from the photos. I have to see it “live”.

    Hybrid engine= Very good news!:D

    Well done VW!

Excellent news for the new Cayenne which should have trimmed down similar excess weight.

The more I look at it the more I like it. I think now I would go so far as to sat it's looking like the best VW in the past decade...

It is very good looking, but the interior has not straight lines as before. Especially the Nav.screen looks extremely cheap in my opinion, but I think, this is just my first impression and I will be impressed by seeing it in real life. The build quality should be extremely high…

Lighter weight? Hell yeah! Looks like this preview of the new Cayenne is a good one. This isn't as agressive, but I'm sure WALD or some other tuners will make some crazy kit for this. LOL
