You can see this concept is based on the Shinari which was shown a year ago. Besides the front end, the rest of the car look 90% production ready, it will be the replacement for the Mazda 6. Mazda is continuing their decade long run of attractive and original designs and now future Mazdas will have clever energy management technology, using a capacitor to store the power when the engine isn't under load. They are leaving Toyota and more worryingly, Honda behind. More photos here: Mazda TAKERI concept hints at new Mazda6 | Car Advice | Reviews
That is going to be seriously hot if they don't change it much for production. Problem is I think Mazda has given up on the 6 here in the U.S. due to slow sales. M
^^^If the CX-5 is any indication, I think the result will still be good. Hopefully they can maintain the interior theme, if not the details, in production form.
That is the sexiest front in the business. Hell, those lines are out-Audiying Audi, if you know what I mean. LOL
Best looking Japanese sedan I've seen in years and years, possibly ever. Now the 1M question is how much of this will change for production. If they kept it as is and put on real mirrors etc. MY goodness this thing would be in my driveway as an "everyday" car. WOW. M
Most japanese concept car look really good. It is when they get to production they look worse. To lazy to give any example. Edit: FT-86 Concept vs. GT86
If they don't make it look too bland as they did with other production models... this might turn out as the best looking sedan at the moment.. and it's a Mazda which means it will be reliable as hell. The perfect daily... maybe
