MB designers seem to be pretty lazy. I think that they could have made the looks of this car more bold and distinctive instead of just making it look like a XL ML.*thumb down*

Thats it? 2 out of 10 for creativity... that thing looks huge though. I understand that the G day is over, but I would have loved if they did a modern interpretation of the G class, instead of a large ML.

It's not a bad looking car (apart from the rear 3/4, looks a bit flat), but I was hoping they'd be more creative and come up with something that's not aimed STRAIGHT at soccer moms.

Hi guys , honestly I dont know why most of you think this is underwhelming , I think it looks stunning , quality will be a step further as well that's for sure . Far from Toyota's landcruiser the GL obviously looks much richer in all terms . This will be big and the GL will be successful . My uncle who owns a Range Rover loved it and is planning on getting this baby as soon as it's out ..
when i saw that pic of the back all i could think of was honda piolt and obviously other people share my view...i loved the G class just how it was im not liking the new mercedes direction very much excpeccialy with suvs
