Official: C63 AMG Coupe Black Series

Bloody brutal and at the same time desirable!

The car looks like an absolute bully! I would like to have mine in black or in frozen grey.

The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series has proven to be a hit, as reports indicate the entire stock of 800 units ran out these days. The Affalterbach firm initially planned a total of 650 examples of this limited run sports model will be built, but due to increased interest from the retailers and growing demand, the production needed to be extended by up to 150 extra units. The last vehicle arrived in showrooms across the world at the beginning of 2012, which means the most powerful C-Class of all time has already sold out in the first six months after its market launch in January this year.

Fact is the waiting list for the C 63 AMG Black Series comprises more clients than the actual number of units built, which puts the German company into a troublesome situation as they won't be able to honor those deliveries and will probably have to return the money back to the customers that won't ever get their dream car.

I saw one today in Paris. Absolutely amazing. It stood out among cars like Phantom cabrio, LP670 and Ferrari FF, just to name a few...

MBUSA hasn't said a word about this car, never seen one at a dealer or on the street. Exclusive and rare indeed.

This car has got to be one of the absolute craziest cars in the world. And it is my wet dream!

I have a client trying to get one now. Liking pulling eye teeth. They essentially aren't building any,and they assess each build on a case by case basis. There are four in the entire US for sale right now.
The entire concept is "exclusive" and "Extremely Limited."

Is that a good thing?

I guess that depends. If you are wanting one NOW, or wanting to sell one NOW, then no. Once you have one, this is a GREAT thing.

Got it. I have never even seen one and the 2 deales here have everything on their floors: SL65, SLS Roadsters, S600s etc., but no C63 Black, ever. I would kill to drive one for an hour or so.

Shame you are not in England, you could then drive it around the MB purpose built circuit at Silverstone. currently on special offer £250.00 reduced from £350.00 for an hour.
