This is one of the few examples where the end product looks better than the concept After seeing this, I'm looking forward to the next X3.
Wow, I'm surprised as you guys are... I thought it would look awkward or something. But it look good... much better then the current X3.

Whoa that first pic scared me.. and not in a good way... The car has a stupid face.. Rear is nice.. and interior is OK or even great for this class.. (depends on what it will cost) BUT DAMN THAT FACE.. Something to scare children with.. If you dont go to sleep the X1´s face will come and eat you...
Hmm...I have mixed feelings about the car atm. And I do feel the same as you Artist about the front. Although there are some angles it doesn't look so bad.
Looks good! Might have to buy me one. I still think it's way too close to the X3, but it really looks better then I thought it would exterior and interior wise.
That is what an SUV is suppose to do! I hope they put that face on the next Generation X5 and I will buy it.
This is a great looking mini-crossover. I don't quite get what it is. It looks around the same size as the current X3. Will it come to America?
Wow...I'd also say that it turned out better than expected. Interior is typical BMW and the exterior looks lithe and athletic. I have to say I like it face and all. It doesn't seem to have the battering ram face of the concept? M
Well... well.. well its about bloody time we saw the car.. I must say I love it to bits.. much better than expected.. Now the wife will be happy she did not get the Nissan Quashqai after all.. Awesome BMW Something I wont be ashamed to be seen driving...
It think it looks fabulous. Looks fairly spacious - decent boot. I'd love one for the family as the "urban SUV". I'm interested to see how it compares size-wise next to our Forester. Ok BMW, good one. Now, really impress me and bring out an X1M with 245 kW TwinPower turbo six, xDrive and DPC rear diff. Here's my OTP.
Make that 2 OTPs Martin.. To think I have been delaying the wife to replace her car with the Nissan which she adores.. She will love this, so will I… two birds with one stone…:eusa_danc
I agree ghusheshe. This is so much better than the CashCow (a brilliant product in its own right) but it's going to be very expensive here. I've slowly converted my wife to the joys of owning a powerful, safe, sure-footed SUV. Once they go they don't come back though, so here's a word of warning - don't expect to be driving that X1 too often! As for the car - barring the hideous colour - I just love this profile. Nobody does cab-backward like BMW does and on a mini-SUV it's a particularly fetching silhouette. http://www.germancarforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=282339&stc=1&d=1246409390 I must say, I'd ace one of these (in this package) in that new metallic grey with saddle brown interior. Where's that crazy agriculturalist, Human?
Overall very nice looking little SAV. My only complaint about interior is the area below screen, that ugly, cheap looking plastic...:jpshakehe Everything else is just fine. :t-cheers:
