^ They would have been much better off forgetting about that retarded relic, and focus on modern design like the CLS. Oh well.

Ah, my pet design hate in the second decade of the 21st Century. Once more the fastback fashion faux-pas rears its ugly head. I gather this thing goes head to head with the 5er GT? Good. They deserve each other.

Will the new A6 look identical to this thing, only in sedan form? :t-hands: The rear is looking so sad. Could be the angle though. :eusa_thin
Is it based on an A8 since it offers optional adaptive air suspension? I've just noticed there is also an optional head-up display available. Is this the first time in an Audi car?

It's not thaat bad looking really ("for what it is"). It's just not my type of design, that fastback/hatchback fugly look with a weird Wagon/4-Door Coupe mixture is just not a great site, with the droopy butt to boot.

As far as the detailing goes, classic Audi of course, but the sheetmetal looks nice, clean and simple, but taut and some decent sculpting going on, without going overboard with heavy creases and such.... Which would just look wrong on an Audi.

As a Panamera owner, I think this is the kind of cars that would look amazing IRL. The proportions are not realized in photos since I think the concept had a really low profile (1410 mm I think) .. so I guess its nice looking vehicle although I prefer sedans.

Why do people keep saying this???

It's NOT a 5er GT rival, but a CLS rival. Completely different. 5er GT features much, much more space inside.

Overall Audi have tried to maintain as much of the concept as possible. Interior and exterior on the whole remains faithful to the concept which surprises me by some of the comments we are hearing because at that time everyone loved what they seen. Main areas of noticeable change are front and rear lights.

I reckon when the S and RS models get revealed much of the aggression that was present with the concept will be restored.

Interior looks awful. Like a sea of cheap plastic, very cold.

Way too avant-garde of an attempt and a failure at that. Looks like they tried to emulate what Tim Burton would do with a cars interior, and failed. Just doesn't look right for a cars inside, overly "revolutionary" trying.

Real life photos will probably much better. It's a bit unfair to judge by a few crappy press shots. BMW initial press shots usually aren't too hot either.
