Perfect color combo for a Boxster.

As so often happening with other brands so it's happening here with Porsche because IMO the biggest rival to the 991 sales doesn't come from another brand but from in-house.

Looks fantastic in that white. I can't get over how big a home run this car is.

Some Porsche Boxsters will be built by VW - report

    Taking over for Valmet

Porsche used to rely on Valmet for overflow production, but output of its sports cars ended at the Finnish plant last year.

That photo sends the wrong message for would be macho Boxster buyers.

Machos buy Caymans, not Boxsters. ;)

For me any small convertible is a lady's car.

That statement might work in some countries but here no Porsche convertible or not is regarded as a girl's car.

This boxster is one of those rare cars where i'm willing to let go of my distaste for convertibles and appreciate it's beauty.

Its a truly gorgeous car. The looks of a Ferrari and finesse too but at the priced of an Audi or BMW.

Decided to built my ideal Boxster S on the Porsche website and I ended with £14K of extras.

How the hell did you do that? Added solid 24K Gold wheels? :D

I personally don't think this is excessive box ticking.

It's not excessive. It just about the standard basket value of options ticked by a Porsche buyer.

I love the reviews so far but a part of me thinks the car would be in near Carrera GT level with sports tires and a 450hp engine.

Haven't driven one only talked to my friend who is sales manager at the dealers and he says the new Boxster and Cayman are on another level, the balance and poise they have is unreal. Hopefully I'll get an invite over to Silverstone soon to drive one for myself.
