Nice to read that the 3er reigns supreme. IMO the FL did good outside for the C-class but even better on the inside, I like the new dash and that steering wheel looks superb!
I use to see a lot LCI W204 and, even when the interior is a huge step forward, and the front end looks pretty nice, the rear is a bit concerning. Particulary the rear bumper, looks weird, and needed of the AMG pack, on the contrary than the pre-LCI C-Class.
As someone who has has test driven the new 3 series(M3 included) and has a C63 AMG coupe ordered, The face-lifted refreshed C-Class blows the interior quality on the 3er away. The M3 doesn't hold a candle to the C63's leather. I'd go as far as to say it's damn well near Porsche quality. Everything feels so tight, and well fitted. BMW has been losing sight of what and who they are as of late(my opinion of course) MB stays true to their roots. Luxury with a hint of performance.
For some reason, the best commercials for the 2012 C-Class have yet to be posted; until now ofcourse.
Sharp and clever ad! We know how it goes when the BIG 3 goes against one another in advertising. I can't help to wonder BMW's retaliation....BMW 3er, the only Star in it's class

This is a Epic car i would go down and say it will have a legendery status in MB history...We have two pre facelifts at home...Also used a face lift for a mounth what a interior great cars these W 204 and reliability and build quality in class of their own both our W204 are over 150 thousand kilometres touch wood they been brilliant in reliability.
The W204 is defintely the most complete C-Class car so far. Sedan, Wagon, Coupe, almost perfect engines, and a real Mercedes interior finally. The next one will be even better. Mercedes seems to be on a mission to improve quality on everything they put out now. The ML, GL are finally up to where they should be and the C will be built (for U.S. consumption) in the same U.S. factory in 2014. The interior should be a real winner. M
I can't wait to see the interior of the next gen C class, and the quality of the materials in particular. BMW 3er is good, A4 is about equal (and better next gen), and I hope the W205 will be a true MB with the best interior quality of them all. But no doubt, there quite a bit to improve over the benchmark in this class (3er), quality wise....
Wow, it looks AWESOME with the Luxury grille and standup Star and AMG Pack! Never seen it like that. Looks so much more imposing and strong, like a baby E-Class.
And that's proof of the E-Class' good looks, especially for those who hate on it, because the C-Class really is a 'baby E-Class'. Blur your eyesight and take a swift glance at the pics and the E-Class will immediately come to mind.
I agree. Put them next to each other and you see the E's sheetmetal is like an advancement of the C's. It's much more dynamic, fluid and sharper, albeit quite a bit more busy and less simplified. All in all, the bloodline is very intact, one being a bit of a simpler, early iteration, and the other being further in that design idiom and more complex (fits the personalities of the segments better: C is more compact therefore more sporty in nature, so its metal could be more relaxed, while the E's size and nature could render it more "stodgy" if too boring, therefore needed some more "flair" to balance things out).
