The 19' rims look great!! But there isn't really a wheel, I would say, it doesn't look great. They will all harmonise perfect to the sporty character of the E89!

hope they bring this E85 wheel back! :)

Looks like that one is replaced by the V spoke style 294 (18") :t-hands:

I won't miss that one at all... Don't like these kind of rims. But of course BMW could still offer it, as long as it has fans - why not?

Yes that's what I thought too.

Maybe my taste is weird, but it was the most beautiful rim I had seen in a while. Anything that evokes the track I like.. (and this rims evokes split design racing rims with its peripheral bolts). Also the rims are symmetrical and not fussy. Not sure I like any of the new wheels yet. Let's wait and see.

No false hope , Embrace the new day.
Actually "Never Stand Still" was quite a lucrative initiative for BMW and indeed in our history.
We are certain to return to a similar concept sometime in the future , no matter what people say it was a interesting approach in which to launch a luxury sedan.

I really like what I am seeing so far. Looking forward to seeing a good view of the front end!

I've noticed quite a few design similarities to the Z3 that the current Z4 seemed to have skipped:

The bonnet shut line for example is into the front wheel arch, as in the Z3, and the rear wheel arch is big and chunky, and looks a bit like the Z3 one to me too.
The third brake light is also incorporated into the bootlid similarly:

Even the new wheels look quite familiar - second ones remind me of the Z8.

    And just for comparison:

So far so good then, its a nice evolution from the E85, but its nice to see some of the design I liked in the Z3 show through too!

    design - design - design... Z3 - Z4 - Z8 blablabla :eusa_doh:

even if I risk repeating myself... What ABOUT THE M V8???

    this thing needs power!:t-drive:

    ,-) sorry... :t-crazy2:

The M boys don't have to work on the CS anymore, so give them the new Z4 to toy with...

    yep, make us happy bmw...

They will, there´s no other proyect on development under the M badge, having apart from the X6 and X5 M, so till 2011 when the F10 M5 will be presented they have time to make the new Z4 M a true beast.

if I am not mistaken, the e89 is based on the actual 3-series so...
no big deal...anything they need, is available... V8, DKG... so just build it!
  16. klier Member

    ^ exactly.

I would rather prefer they give the MZ4 the TT V8 which we will se in the forthcoming X5/X6. I think it will be more of a monster in the Z4 then the NA V8.

    imagine....BMW has the marketing guts to sell a Z4 M V8TT with 407HP/600NM for - say...62000€ (Basic).

    And than Alpina makes it a 1600kg / 500HP/700NM Car for say - 70.000€!!

EVERY Sportcarfanatic would want one! An insame Car for a "bargain" price...
even better than the Nissan GTR!

But - as I say - the BMW Marketing guys have no guts...only in stupid design-trails...

^^For some reason I highly doubt anyone who is looking for a GT-R will cross shop with the Z4M.

Bring back Z4 Coupe and make a M version our of it. I prefer current Z4 Coupe over the Roadster.
