    excellent.

    edit:
I wonder if IAS will be offered on the new Rolls too -- could be very useful for such a big vehicle.

Great read. I think this is the best car ever made. It will win every test from the S-class!

    I like this:

'An early pre-production drive of the new 7-series shows that we can drive it like an M5 or like an overstuffed pillow. Both are convincing'

You sure seem to be certain. Remember people, said the same when the new C-class hit the earth. But far from it, the C-class isnt winning every single test. Be careful what you wish for ;)

But the C-class is not a beemer is it? :D:D
We'll have to wait and see, but so far it's looking real good.

I think Andreas was making an analogy here .. He means the new C class was supposed to dethrone the new 3 Series but apparently it was not a class leader as early reviews shown ..

I know I was just kidding hence the ':D:D' ...

Depends on what you were looking for. For ride and refinement the C-class is far superior. Dynamics and handling on the other hand are another story, though some articles have said the C was just as good then the BMW in this respect also. It all really depends on spec, engine choice etc. But I think we all should realize by now BMW's will always have their strong attributes and MB will always have theirs.

What's interesting about the new 7 is that apparently it combines outstanding dynamics with first class comfort. So it's going to be really interesting how the FL S-class stacks up. I wonder if MB have managed to get their hands on a few BMW's yet. :eusa_thin
