This morning I went to go poke the Audi with a stick to see what repairs needed to be made since my sister is moving to GA in a week or two. After two minutes I went inside and told her that if she sold it that would be just fine. So we went out to poke at a few used cars. Went to Carmax and checked out the T-regs found two that were ok, little more then she wanted to spend. So we went to VW dealer to see what they had. They went and pulled a T-reg from one a same company different brand dealer. Same price as the Carmax ones with more options, less mileage and a warranty. So she went for it. 2006, V6, Silver with Grey interior. DVD player for the back seats, parktronic and rearview camera.
Didn't get that much for the awie, but it needed to go.
Too dark for pics now, will try tomorrow.
Dad is on his way home, he will yell!!! But it is her money and she is married so not his problem.

No more oil slick in front of our house:banana: well as soon as I clean it up.

What was wrong with the Audi?

sorry it is a 2005 not 06. and no dad didn't yell:banana: he is cool with everything.
What is wrong with the Audi, whats not?
It has had several problems; check engine light, oil leaks- engine and power steering, turn the wheel all the way it feels like there is a flat tire (think front axle joint is about to explode, might be fun at 80mph). There is other problems too.

T-regs are awesome man. They are great value for the money. Out here in the US, they're comparable in price to the Acura and the Lexus, but some things inside the Toureg the Japanese don't offer. Either way, really nice man. Congrats to your sis.

How do you reckon the interior compares to your E?

Nice decision,Toureg is a serious SUV not just for mud play, congrats to ur sister and many happy safe miles:t-cheers::D

Leave the Audi alone? Yes I finally can:banana:

How does the interior compair to the E? It doesn't.
I like the E class interior a lot more the the Treg, but I can't say the Treg is bad. Some off the plastic is cheaper then it could be. Some of the leather, wood and aluminum trim I find has a late 90s early 00s Japanese lux car feel to it. Kind of reminds me of my friends old Lexus and Acura.
Then again it does have 35k on it and the E only 12K with no kids in the car.
Important thing is she loves it. Should be good for her for at least five plus years.

The Tourags are fine cars, I had a ride in one of them, and they feel like a tank. Is parking the car a major issue cause these things are very wide.

It does have the partktronic system and a aftermarket rearview camera so that helps with parking, but yes my sister does take a long time to park.

Congratulations to your sister's new car! Hopefully she'll let you drive it too! :t-cheers:

I am the only one who has not driven it. I had the biggest facter in her picking that car and I was the one who looked it over for things that needed attention and I still haven't driven it:eusa_thin

I finally drove the dam thing! My sister leaves tomorrow morning.
I told her to give me the keys, she gave them to me and told me to fill it with gas. No I did not pay for it.
