Re: Mercedes SL Facelift (Spy pics & info). Don't like the new headlights the least. It is some sought of a bastard child between the MB's new edgy design and the old curvy design. They should have just waited till they brought out a completely new car, the old one would have done fine till then.

This new SL looks so much better than the previous one that it's almost ridiculous it did not looked like that from the beginning. This grille, this mouth, this is just insane, it will eat you alive! I love it! it is even better with the partly smoked headlamps. The Airscarf that you can see from the rear of the seat is strange!!

Oh my God is Mercedes for real. Nothing wrong with the facelift but when you see the front you just die. Its awful. I hope it gets better once I see them on the roads for a while. But now, Im not impressed. The pre-facelift was perfect and I guess its impossible to improve something perfect.
I think I just vomited a little in my mouth. ukeface: What a way to ruin one of the most beautiful cars on the market. Revolting! Disclaimer: There is a possibility that by this time tomorrow or the day after a will be in love...but then maybe not.
Hahahaha ^^ I think the SL will be like the CLS, when people saw the first pics of the CLS they hated the design but after seeing the car IRL most of the people really liked the design. I think every aspect of the facelift is perfectly executed, the front grille and lights look great, the open airscraf from the back is a nice touch as well.

And the leather!!What is it for a leather, it looks so sweet, so comfortable, so incredible!!:icondrool I loved the SL, but this one is...out of this world. It indeed is a miracle, Mercedes took a perfect car and made it...over-perfect, it is fabulous.
Re: Mercedes SL Facelift (Spy pics & info). Hm, not bad. But I still think there's more potential in that design. They could have done better. And that fact is quite bad considering I hold the old SL as one of the best looking cars ever made. Big plus on the interior though, big improvement!
Lol. And they should have done a better job in covering the cheap CPU fans on the headrest. Otherwise the interior looks good.
