    Door handles. Yay.

    What?
I'm the doors sure will have automatic open/close system & will be opened by remote control (via "key" card) de facto every time - except when something goes wrong.

So, actually no need for exterior handles at all - except for emergency reasons. (y) And even then - as we heard - the doors are blown up automatically as well. :D

OMFG, this car is so nice! I think this one has beaten the X1 when it comes to slow releases, this car has been shown for a couple of months now with no more disguise than a couple of gaffa stripes...

Can someone explain those diagonal suspension springs - usually the springs are positioned vertically.

Since I'm not in supercars that much :D : is this normal in such cars to use non-vertical position of the springs? Are this SLS AMG is something special? How low is this car? 115cm? Lower?

I was being sarcastic EnI, given the amount of discussion around the design and placement of the door handles earlier in this thread. :t-cheers:

At least this car's slow release isn't as bad as the new Camaro's. That thing took like 5 years to come out and we saw it everywhere until it actually did.

sure, they're safe, when they're not on their roof or driving mothers and their children off the road.

does that count as pwnage? ( that's a jailbreaking tool for the iPhone btw :D )
  8. NarutoRamen Well-Known Member

What are you referring to for I said no such thing, sir.

BTW...yeah, I know about Pwnage tool, I've used it.

That's illegal sir, I would NEVER do that :D

Can somebody explain to me those "almost horizontal" front springs. Is this a regular solution in supercars, or it's something MB is coming out with exclusively. :t-hands:

Or is this solution limited to electric version of SLS ... or perhaps also the regular SLS version will feature such solution?

    :t-hands::t-hands::t-hands::t-hands::t-hands:

How does this think work ... these non-vertical almost horizontal springs? :t-hands:

I guess this solution is there to keep the nose height as low as possible ... Any other advantages? :t-hands:

    Help me!

I have only seen it used in light sportscars and supercars, where the height of the installation is crucial.

Ohhh....stunning...just love it....but why is it next to a (relatively) old S-Class?
  16. MBZ Fan Well-Known Member

Well, I don't know why, but what I do know is that this is a new version of the S-Class, that is to be launched at the IAA(and there the car will be dressed in the new S-Klasse FL clothes). It is called S 500 Plug-In Hybrid.
