The airvents are not just reversed E class air vents.. Take a closer look... The amount of louvres are different and the shape isn't the same. The eclass vents are bigger.

One of the first "shooting brake" sporting estate bodystyles was the Reliant Scimitar GTE, available from 1968 - 1990 during which time 16,000 were sold. A great concept updated with this Merc Fascination.

Sorry, unsure how to insert a picture, but googling will bring up lots

Even better, this has got to be the very first shooting brake ever:

    A Bentley

This imo is a real shooting brake too, a Volvo:

What is very important in a real shooting break is the side view only having two windows. With three, it automatically becomes some sort of wagon! The MB has got it just right...

Tsk Tsk. I expected more from you Monster! Upside down E-Class vents. :eusa_doh::D

The console is quite different to the one on the C. Not really sure about the GLK.

Rob, you haven't yet told us how disgusting this MB interior looks compared to what BMW is doing? :D

I wonder if that front end is identical in overall shape and design to the production car cause it's mindblowingly gorgeous.

^ Well things like those horizontal bars in the lower air vents and inner headlight cluster will most certainly not stay like this concept.

I can if you want...but it probably wouldn't have the same impact :D

Yeah I wonder if the 'point' is going to be as pronounced. Will certainly cause some pedestrians pain! lol.

    Need I?

It is clear for all to see :D

Seriously though, the interior seems slightly at odds with the very dynamic and sculptural exterior.

I really love the front end. Now we need to see the production rear end.

And the production front end, because it will not stay like this sadly.

Yeah right. You're looking at the production front end minus some flash, but the overall shape and design are the same.

I wonder if the E class will have those "floating" LEDs on the lights -- that is really great.

Give him some credit. I'm sure that is what he meant. If not, yeh you crazy klier. :D

The E interior will be similair but different. This interior matches the new CLK or E coupe.

It's exactly what I meant. If you think the concept front with fancy bumper and headlight graphics and christmas tree grille will make it to production, you are crazy :D
The overall shape will probably stay the same, yeah (if that's what you meant)
