Just like it is IMPOSSIBLE to build another BMW M3 CSL, Honda NSX and Ferrari F40, to name a few, it is IMPOSSIBLE to build another McLaren F1.

I would add Porsche Carrera GT to that list. We now live in an electronic era and man is getting ever more disconnected from the surface beneath the tires.

Well I mentioned only a few, but I should also have mentioned the Carrera GT, I love this car, I even have a scale model. However good the 918 Spyder will be, I don't think anything from Porsche will be better than the Carrera GT, though very good cars like the 911 GT3 (991) and the Cayman S (981) are on their way. From all, I only see Ferrari that may bring out a better car than the Enzo as they are staying faithful to the initial concept: mid-rear NA V12 in CFRP chassis.

I think it is quite possible. The McLaren F1 was revealed at the same occasion exactly 20 years ago.

I think this "P12" will unfortunately not be a worthy F1 successor. The F70 will be a better one, especially with it NA V12 sound which will have nothing to do with the FI V8 sound. :(

I know he's joking at the end there, but I wouldn't be opposed to some more F1s, especially if it'll come with that gem of a BMW 6.1L V12.

This is still going to be a tough rival. I think McLaren learned from the mistakes of the MP4-12C. It will be the worst sounding, toghether with the Huayra and Agera, because the 918 Spyder and F70 will get NA engines.

This time Ferrari and McLaren are going head to head with their new hypercars. Both are to be revealed this year. I gues both will run sub 7 min around the N-Ring. I don't think the 918 Spyder will be able to keep up. The Carrera GT on the other hand could keep up with the Enzo, MC12 and SLR, and was one of the best.

No doubt this car is going to be amazing. Can't wait for the Enzo to drop also so we can see some camporo's.

That's the evidence I need. It's really taking shape. You can see the Zonda-esque small canopy with a huge rear. Mclaren is back. Good on Ron Dennis to revive the company's car making credentials.

That's the mother of all rear diffusers right there...

Loving the shape already although it is just a rough and ready mule at this stage.

It looks a bit 458 Italia when viewed from the side, or it's just me?
