M3 with Competition Package crushes new RS5

Hi there,

I've just read the comparison between E92 M3 with new Comp-Package against the Audi RS5 both with DCT in THE german magazine for motor enthusiasts: Sport Auto.
I never expected that clear defeat of the new RS5 (although 2,5 years younger than the M3).

• RS5 almost 180kg heavier than M3 although equipped with sport seats without electric motors.
• RS5 100-200 km/h almost 1 second slower than M3 (0,3 sec faster 0-100 - AWD traction)
• RS5 1,1 seconds slower at the Hockenheim-Ring race track
• RS5 needs 1,3 liter more gas / 100km than M3
• RS5 has very bad steering (artificial + incalculable) according to test
• RS5 has inferior suspension compared to the EDC of the M3. M3 is also much more comfortable. EDC of M3 much more convincing.
• RS5 has 10.000€ higher price (AWD + keramik brakes - but these brakes don't translate into better braking)
• 18m slalom handling: M3 3 km/h faster than RS5

I never expected that clear win of the M3 over the new RS5. There is not ONE point the RS5 convinced the tester over the M3.

The new Competition Package is obviously a huge step for the M3! In this test the M3 was 0,1a faster around the HHR track than the previous Supertest M3 (2008) that was equipped with semi slicks!
That is an awsome achievement.

What an absolute idiot.

Not just because of the places he's driving like that but the fact that the registration plate is clearly visible. I hope the authorities investigate and throw the book at him.

Even more stupid then. The police AND the dealers won't be happy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for "enthusiastic" driving, but there's a time and a place. Doing it in the wrong place just makes the authorities clamp down even more on powerful cars and also just gives the environmentalists/anti-car brigade more ammunition.

She even ran a red light in the video.
