Mühldorf am Inn Classic Car Show Part 1

Well, it took place again and Wimmer was there to photograph the good stuff. This years show had so many cars they actually ran out of space! A lot of American cars were also present, especially from GM brands so stay tuned! :t-cheers:

Some of the pictures had to be edited with photoshop because of the glaringly strong sun. I tried adjusting the white balance and exposure settings of my camera at the show but the results weren't to my satisfaction...

As usual the event is hosted at the largest dirt track in Europe - found in my town! Yeah baby!

On the way to the show... gorgeous Audi Quattro!

    Alfa Romeo GT

    Mercedes-Benz W116 S-Class: my personal favorite S-Class ever! Weren't the '70s great!?

    Two BMW 502's!

Class of the show I suspect?

Was there a 2+2 fastback version of this? I remember we used to have a VW with a similar front only it was a fastback.

Black one looks better, round headlights look more classy.
Are those mirrors on the white one? One on the passenger side two on the drivers?

You mean like "Recipient of Most Beautiful Car Award"? :D

You need to ask Phaeton, he's the VW expert here. :t-cheers:

Edit: Wikipedia is your friend! :D

    German: VW K 70 – Wikipedia

English: Volkswagen K70 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German article mentions that a "hatchback three-door was planned", but it never mentions if it was made. The English article doesn't mention anything about a coupe.

    Yep.

This was a genuine prototype car so I guess they were experimenting with the "mirror look". :t-cheers:
