OMG!! I just had to laugh so badly, when I saw this photo in the current issue of AMS… Just saw one on the road!! And DAMN, this one is an ugly car!! Every Smart looks so much better then this…and best thing is!! It's a fourseater!!:rofl::rofl:
Hahahahahahahhahahahaahhaahhahaha....... That first photo is  hahahaah ^^ Excellent Post Ree ^^ HA HA HA HA!
HAHA! I saw one a couple of days ago, they are funky but you must have a pretty small "IQ to buy one :t-cheers:
It's actually a 3-seater, not a 4-seater. I'm not sure what the market reaction will be to this thing. It's going to be released as a Scion in the states.
It's a 4 seater, but then there is no space for luggage…here you go: Comfortable travel car for 4 person:
Well shut my mouth - I thought I was on top of these things. Toyota is sniping for the market currently occupied by Smart - I don't know if they'll succeed or not. The rumor mill has it that the iQ feels more like a "real car" than the smart. Not sure about that one, but I'm eager to find out.
I saw some of them. They're looking nice, if a bit like toys. But I find the name pretty good: the seating arrangment ist indeed quite smart. The thing is 3m long, not more, and yet it can seat 3 people in correct conditions, and even 4 if needed. It's the modern Mini, the one Issigonis created and not the current fashion accessory. I find it actually smarter then the 2nd gen smart, but they're working at an aswer right now I believe. One very smart little car.
I saw an iQ in Füssen and the car is very wide. Design wise I find it ugly and the whole concept is a rip-off of the Smart. Toyota was even audacious enough to come up with a name that sounds similar to the Smart: iQ. What's next, the Kia Logic? :t-crazy2:
Haha, I see where you coming from, but I like how Toyota raised the ante against the Smart. Very in-your-face move from a company that tends to be more innocuous than confrontational. I get the sense that this segment will be hotly contested market segment. In California, I'm seeing more and more Smarts running about, at least 2 at my work's parking lot. I may have to go in and take the Smart (and the iQ, if we do get one in Scion guise) for a spin. Both cars have some space-efficient technologies that are rather intriguing.
This will sell much better than the smart. Smart car only has two seats, this has four. Perfect for women with children to do the school run then nipping to the shops
