Honestly...they should have been had an SUV/Crossover. Land Rover is Land Rover...Jag should have an SUV. Don't know how well it would sell, but if they apply the same design language as they did with the XF it should be fantastic.

The photo is horrible by the way though.

As far as I can make out the Jag SUV will be based on the next RangeRover Sport, that means an all-alloy platform so it should be good.

Like I said, with the right design this thing should be fantastic. I've been waiting a long time for a Jag SUV/Crossover.

I don't think the current Jaguar face fits an SUV well. I don't think it well end up looking nearly as good as the Evoque.

Earlier this week Wolfgang Durheimer confirmed a bentley suv for 2014 and has effectively started the engines for an SUV war amongst the elite British brand. Aston Martin will undoubtedly push out one of their own too now and Rolls Royce will likely start thi king about how they can sneak one into the Market.

Some nice comparisions are going to come up soon: Mercedes ML (new), VW Touareg (new), Audi Q7 (next genearation), BMW X5 (F15), Porsche Cayenne (958), Range Rover Sport (next generation), Maserati Kubang (2013), Jaguar.

I think I would take the Maserati. IMO Maserati are the most beautiful cars and have Ferrari engines. The only lacking think is Porsche quality, but after the 458 Italia and FF I think they are on the right way.
