I 'm write a article about C. Which is necessary to mention four generations's drag coefficient.

    W201

    W202

    w203

    W204

    W201 0.34

    W202 0.31

    W203 0.26

W204 0.25 to 0.33 (mercedes-benz.de lists the value by model)

The body kit on the 2.3-16 and 2.5-16 reduced the drag coefficient to 0.32, one of the lowest CD values on a four door saloon of the time, whilst also reducing lift at speed.
    Evo II .29

MB really has been putting a lot of effort into CD values (some might say to the detriment of the overall stance of the vehicles). But they seem to have a lead on Audi and BMW in this respect. Good for fuel efficiency.

If there weren't the crappy pedestrian crash requirements most cars would be mid .20s instead of .30s

Interestingly, both the previous generation CLS and the current BMW F10 have similar drag coefficients to the W202 C-Class.

M-B are really the masters (don't know what happened with the original CLS, lol) of making cars that don't sacrifice such character by looking overly aerodynamic, but are extremely aerodynamic.

mercedes has the lowest drag c. of any major car company for many years.......and many of the design clues have been copied for others.

The 1954 300SL has a CD of .25 and that was without a wind tunnel.
