The way the Aventador launches is close to the inconceivable.

Ha! And I never liked the Toyota anyway;)

Stunningly impressive indeed but ones the turbos in the Veyron are spooling at their optimal speed there is nothing stopping it. However I expect it to be triumphed by the 918, F1 successor and Enzo successor. It's years of dominance will come to an end next year.

Rubbish presenter, corny music, it will be nice if they list the respective time at the end.

Why? You don't like his cargo shorts?

Agreed. The track is absolutely cr*p with cracks and dirt everywhere especially for a RWD car like LFA.

Looks like a very long race. Probably around 2 miles (3200 meters) or so. An Aventador will not pull that much away from a Mclaren MP4 in 400 meters. Maybe, 4 - 5 car lengths at the most.

Hope their upcoming race track test would be of much better quality that this.

I doubt that's 2 miles. After 2 miles, I'd expect the Veyron to be much further ahead of the Aventador.

Yeah, probably not 2 miles. Definitely, 1-mile or longer.

This was the most exciting car-video I've seen so far. Sitting and drooling still. Amazing!!! More of this! Bring the R8 GT in there too :)

What a show of power. Poor Lexus had no business here.

Poor surface indeed but it didn't appear to trouble the McLaren that much. Why not accept that in a straightline acceleration race against these three cars it is poorly equipped to compete.

Other than that it is an exceptional machine.

That is why Lexus is thinking about an LFA II to give it the only thing lacking: power, even if a hybrid like the 918 Spyder. Finally, HPW has not ended.

MP4 has all wheel drive like the other two cars. It would have been best served on a 1/4 mile track. That is all I am saying.

Except the MP4-12C is RWD and they were tested on a 1/4 mile track.

My bad. You are right. I somehow always thought it had AWD. I stand corrected.

Why? Going down a straight line was not what LFA was made for... just cause some dick with access to 4 super cars thought that is how he would compare them doesn't mean Lexus have to change a thing about it. A GT3 RS wouldn't have done any better, but does that mean Porsche have to change anything about it? NO. So let us have some perspective.

    My choice;

1; LF-A : A machine to live with & a sound to kill for. That car is very special & a perfect all-rounder (NA, RWD, V10).
2; Avetador : Its a Lambo - It has to be amazing. But it would be a more common sight than LF-A. Eager to see roadster.
3 (tie); MP4-12C : That go cart is filling big shoes. However, lacks the 'classy' looks & 'wow' factor of its predecessor!
4 (tie); Veyron : A car I can spend days admiring every bit of. But won't drop my money to buy one! Expensive & phat.
