D5 A8 Spy Pics & Info

Come on, this thead is way, way, waaaaay too early. Impossible to even speculate at this point. The A8 is still fresh with not even a sign of a facelift yet.

That picture is sexy though, without a doubt. Proportions are amazing.

This is how the D4 should have loocked. The slopping shoulder line on the A5 and Audi Quattro Concept is, IMO, the sexiest shoulder line in the industry. I like it more than the dropping one of the recent benzes, and more than the curvy one BMW seems to be adopting on their new designs.

I wouldn´t mind if this render was the A9.

Well. We can at least expect one thing: It can not be worse-looking then the D4!

Anything is better than the mismatched/asymmetrical dropping line on recent Benzes....

That looks pretty awesome. I wonder how the next one will look. We shouldn't even be speculating at this point, as the current one is way too new. Live in the moment, looking so far ahead sometimes spoils what's happening NOW!

I agree that Audi flubbed the current A8. Not that it's ugly or anything, but it's just un-special at that price, IMO. It looks far too close to the cheaper models. It's effortlessly special in its own way, but I find that in order to notice that, you have to see it in the right elements, as most of the time, it looks pretty plebeian.

Back to the glory of the D3!!! Imagine that in 2017!

Yeah thats how I feel about the A8, it's actually a lot prettier in reality than in pics but it's just not special enough to sit at the top of Audi's lineup, well that is until you step inside and then the specialness comes thick and fast.

Face lifted D3 is gorgeous. Especially with those 20-inch S-Line wheels. D4 is just so meh and yawn worthy.

With the recent weight reductions Audi are claiming for their upcoming models I wonder what we can expect from the A8?

Correct, The first picture is a render of the next generation D5, the bottom picture is a render of the facelift for the D4. Sorry if my post was a little ambiguous.

Okay I know we're so far away but that rendering is just the sexiest "picture" of an Audi I have ever seen. But the proportions are way too coupe like. That would be a PERFECT A7. Or maybe an A9 :O

The facelift is making the car worse instead of better. Not feeling that one at all.
